Walking into Deb's place was just lovely and as described on AIRBB. Certainly get Deb's help reserving taxi's to and fro the airport to make your airport travel trips stress-free. Accommodations were beautiful. Very comfortable king size bed. Beach views both levels of the house. Well equipped kitchen for self-catering. This is certainly an enjoyable private space to base from. The bus system is okay to manage after settling into the Mews for personal transportation. The roads and walk paths are quite narrow, so relying on bus/taxi is the better option than walking long distances roadside. Buy bus tokens from the post office, a short 10 min walk up the road. Our most enjoyable relaxation was right on the dock of Deb's place. Water was cold to swim, but the breeze was the best tonic in the strong sun. It was an ideal day and a happy time of tanning. Thanks for all the wonderful things you do Deb to create such a wonderful sanctuary!

We recently returned from an unforgettable stay at Mary and Simon’s charming cottage nestled in the beautiful Southampton Parish. From the moment we arrived, Mary and Simon’s warm hospitality made us feel like cherished family members rather than mere guests. The cottage exceeded every expectation, far surpassing the photos online. It’s beautifully situated, surrounded by serene nature, and thoughtfully designed with tasteful, homey touches. Impeccably clean and well-appointed, the cottage had everything we could possibly need for a relaxing and comfortable stay. It was truly a perfect retreat, and I cannot recommend it enough! Sea Glass Cottage is a slice of paradise. The ceilings soar overhead and the entire space is bright and airy with gentle breezes and the songs of kiskadees everywhere. The turret is a great place for a cup of morning coffee or for watching a Bermuda sunset. There is a tremendous amount of room (at a fabulous price point) for two people. The kitchen and laundry room make the space completely self sustaining. Will and Julia are gracious hosts. We had a problem one day when our electric car rental died in their driveway. Will pulled out his riding lawnmower to try to tow us back to the charging port. Julia has an effervescent personality and was responsive to our questions and requests. We loved the dogs. Delilah and Prince came by for daily visits. They have free run of the property (it is their house, after all), so if you a not dog people you may want to stay elsewhere, but that will be your loss. Do not pass go, do not collect $200. Go directly to Sea Glass Cottage.

I've stayed in many places over the years and this happily sits within my top 3. Maybe my very favourite?! Silvia's place is the perfect studio for a solo traveller. Fairly equidistant between Hamilton and Docklands, easy to get to if you have transport, but the buses are fine (if you can forgive the slight deviation from timetables). The bed was comfortable, the shower was brilliant, the kitchen had everything you'd need (although I didn't use much). A supermarket is about 25-ish minutes walk away. Silvia's hosting was impeccable. When I return to Bermuda I will be booking her studio again!
