Beachfront holiday rentals in Southern Oregon

This is my second time staying here, and I am ready for a third visit! Super convenient condo above a delicious restaurant, lots of room to spread out and be comfortable (the beds upstairs and downstairs are so comfy!). Big kitchen! Playing scrabble and watching the ocean—you cannot go wrong with a stay here!

I was totally charmed being there. I’m an ocean person so hearing the waves at night was heavenly and the sunset was just stellar. It’s an easy block or two to the ocean from seal pup. I loved the shower …. Most creative/ fantastic showerhead. The ambience of the room was very calming. Looking forward to returning. I was so grateful to have my own walls and not be in a hotel. Seal Pup offered the peace and quiet that I really treasure.

Exactly what we needed! Beautiful view of the Umpqua River and fall colors. The dome was so cozy and we really enjoyed having the wood stove. Hosts were kind and attentive. Looking forward to staying here again.

This little house is a delightful place to stay. The day room off the living room is particularly pleasant to spend time in. There is lots of light and a good view of the ocean. The kitchen is excellent - we did a lot of cooking in it. The main bed is comfortable. My only somewhat critical comment is that the shower is pretty tight, even for small women, but it is absolutely clean and nicely equipped. The location is, for us, ideal - right at the meeting of the rocky 804 trail along the coast with the miles long beach to Waldport. The house happens to be the same one (nicely renovated) that my partner and I visited many times years ago, so we had a feeling of coming home to an old beloved place that was really special. Very cozy and adorable and the view couldn't be beat! We loved the octopus theme and accents and enjoyed the VHS collection at night. It was great being so close to the beach and when not on the beach, we enjoyed the excellent beach views from the living room and the rocking chairs on the deck. We would definitely return in the future!

Wow - how to begin..hubby is an avid birder and was thrilled to be able to bird from the decks - for 4 days we had a "birdseye" view of a pair of ospreys feed each other, sit their nest and mate - just on the other side of the river. Many, many other birds flying over our heads to build their nests. Debra was sooo responsive even before we arrived - super great host. An efficent kitchen is uber- important to us as we are foodies/cooks and we used the kitchen to cook up a storm - as well as the charcoal grill. The bathroom with its' soaker tub and double-headed shower was absolutely killer - bubble bath heaven for me. However, the view and the outdoor space was where we spent most of our time - and we LOVED it. We have a quirk in that in 35 yrs togther we have never visited the same lodging twice - and not because they weren't all wonderful - we just like novelty and new adventures...this is the one and only place we said we WILL come back...and soon..we give Debra 10 stars!

This was a great place to stay with our little one. Loved being able to walk to the river, Scott over to the park and old mill. Michael was very responsive and look forward to hopefully starting again!

We throughly enjoyed staying at Jerry's place! It was extremely relaxing and close to the family we were visiting. While the pool and river were great features, the highlight of our stay was Gemma the dog! My daughter has proclaimed her to be her oregon dog and wants to send her a Christmas gift this December. Jerry was an excellent host! 10/10 highly recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay at this peaceful hideaway. It has a large fenced in backyard with a playset for our toddler that overlooks the pacific in the distance. The sounds of the ocean as well as the Smith River are tranquil. It’s a nice escape for a quiet and relaxing getaway.

We had a fantastic Thanksgiving at the Heron House! The location was great - walking distance to town and to a small beach at the mouth of the river. The beds were comfortable and the kids had a fun time trying out the various sleeping nooks. The kitchen had everything we needed for our Thanksgiving meal. We even got in a round of tennis at the nearby courts. Wish we had visited in the summer to swim in the river. Would definitely stay again!

Everything was great! Cool place. The jacuzzi had changing color lights which was really cool. The sauna was wonderful also.

Beautiful place to stay! The amazing sandy beach is just 3min walk away, or the mouth of the river just 2min walk. And, the big backyard is just perfect for kids and pets! Of course the pool was a big hit with our kids! Great location to discover the beautiful nature around, while feeling like you are glamping at a great place. Really recommend!

This place was perfect for what I was looking for! So cute and styled with vintage items throughout. Pool was not yet ready which was ok considering I went there to fish. Caught a couple good sized trout right from the bank a short walk down the hill. Teresa was very quick to answer any questions, brought us extra blankets and was overall a great host! Very comfortable vintage style beds and parts of the kitchen. However the stove and fridge were newer and bathroom has a heated bidet toilet ( that can be used like a normal one) and a large walk-in shower with duel shower heads, one being a rain shower. If your looking for somewhere to sleep in a dark space, this is not it. Sky lights filled the room with light and told me when it was time to go fishing! Made a wonderful end to a long trip. Thanks again!

Linda and Steve’s place is easy to find in a quiet neighborhood less than a half mile from downtown Yachats and is easy to find. The room is on the ground floor and has a private entrance. (There was someone staying in the room upstairs, which has a separate entrance, and I heard the floor creak once.) The room and bathroom were lovely and well equipped, and the bed was really comfortable. I felt very welcome and would definitely stay here again!

This Airbnb is a true gem! Linda and Steve were the kindest, most gracious and welcoming hosts we've ever met. From the moment we arrived, they made us feel like long-lost friends. They were responsive and attentive, yet never intrusive. We also loved hearing their stories and life experiences! We appreciated the thoughtful touches, including the snacks and drinks they provided. The beautiful Airbnb is nestled in a peaceful neighborhood, and was clean, spacious, and tastefully designed. The modern bathroom is spacious with a gorgeous shower. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the kitchen was perfectly equipped for our needs. We loved the scenic 10-minute walk along the river to the beach and town! The location was ideal—close to all the attractions we wanted to visit, yet quiet at night. We highly recommend this Airbnb and these amazing hosts. We had an absolutely fantastic stay at this Airbnb and can’t wait to return on our next trip to Yachats!

This house was perfect for our family over Thanksgiving. You can’t beat the ocean view that we had for our Thanksgiving dinner! The kitchen was well equipped for cooking our meal. The house was very clean. We would definitely rent this house again if we were staying in this area.

Honestly an unbelievable location to be right on the water. The best place we’ve stayed at yet - plus everything was well supplied and clean and you have a binder of information and instructions to help with exploring and enjoying the stay. Duke was incredibly responsive and helpful if we had any questions. Highly recommend !!!

This is maybe the most special AirBnB I have ever stayed at. Every little detail has been attended to. We had a teeny little wedding ceremony here and it was the perfect place to celebrate as a small group. Books, art supplies, toiletries, and ingredients galore! We didn’t need half of what we brought. The view is epic. The indoor plants are enchanting. The beds are insanely hard to get out of. Everyone slept well. We are already trying to find an occasion to come back!! Thank you Heather 🙏🙏

Beautiful home with spectacular river and ocean views. Gated and private on two lush acres (with a little waterfall!), but close to town. We saw deer, seals, and so many birds. Loved the details - pleasantly surprising amenities, ready for cooking, clean in every corner, and comfortable beds and furniture. Mark is a great host! We’ll be back.

It was a beautiful place to stay and Sebastian was extremely helpful during our stay! Definitely will have to come back another time!

Our mixed generation family loved the house. So much room for different activities. Lots of different sitting areas. Good beds. We didn’t use the little house. Had more than enough room in the big house for the 10 of us. Kitchen is very well equipped, many specialty appliance, nice choice of coffee makers. Lots of spices and condiments. Dining table sat the 10 of us. Deck had many chairs and tables. Loved having the hot tub with a view. Grandkids loved all the games upstairs.

We had the best stay at the beach house. The moment we pulled up just as the sun was setting behind the lighthouse we knew we were going to have special visit. We are roadschoolers.. meaning my home schooled some learns on the road inspired by the area we are visiting. This location was perfect.. the tide pools below were teeming with life. Just be mindful to check the tide schedule :) we toured Umpqua Lighthouse (in Winchester) as well as the coast guard museum.. so knowledgable and also very reasonably priced. The guide also helped us look on the horizon and spot migrating whales :) We did visit the redwoods one day.. a 2.5 hour drive south, chartered a fishing trip and visited the Charleston Marine Center. Dinner at the Hilltop Grill was also treat! We cannot thank Michael enough for his hospitality and was a pleasure to meet him! We are already planning return trip!

The perfect sanctuary, we especially loved morning yoga on the patio, taking a dip in the river, hanging by the firepit. Great use of space, perfect for a small group of friends coming together and wanting to reconnect with nature. Can’t wait to come back!
