Monthly Rentals in Southerness

Aidan's place was absolutely emaculate the linen smelt divine and the beds where comfortable, we could not fault our stay felt right at home. Had a beautiful sea view. We was down to visit Dalscone farm which for a family is amazing and 30 minutes away. We enjoyed morning and evening walks along the beach with the dog. The tide was to far out to swim on our stay and you have to book for the on sight pool as this is a ParkDean site, we didn't go into the club as you had to pay for that and the pub at the end of the road was way to expensive for us we choose to visit the Nisalocal shop on sight and have a BBQ style tea. We did pay for a day's WIFI at £6 to watch Wrexham get Promoted. In all a very lovely weekend away.

Everything was perfect and as described..location was ideal and right next to the complex with space for two cars which was great. The facilities in the bungalow were great and having two toilets was worth it. There was an issue with trying to get hot water in the shower where David was rapid in his response, the water did still go cold every now and again but nothing major. Great stay, great communication and will 100% be back for sure. 5 stars all round ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The accommodation was excellent. Although it is situated near to the road, there is no traffic noise. It was a pleasure to be able to hear the birdsong every morning. A lovely rural setting but only 10 minutes to the centre of Dumfries. Honestly, we couldn’t fault it and hope to return soon.

We had a wonderful stay at Linda and Paul’s immaculate bungalow in Southerness. The location is stunning, with uninterrupted views of the Solway Firth and direct access to the beach — far better than the static caravans further along the shore. The home was spotlessly clean, cosy, and very well-equipped. Linda and Paul were exceptional hosts — they quickly resolved a small issue with the bathroom lock on check-in day, and Linda welcomed us with delicious fruit tarts. Paul was a delight to chat with and full of great stories, about his childhood at Bolton. The garden is secure and perfect for dogs. This is a peaceful, well-located gem that offers much more comfort and character than nearby alternatives. Book without hesitation — we’ll definitely be back!
