Monthly Rentals in Southfield

The perfect place for us as a couple with a dog, the cottage is cosy and very nicely decorated. The views from the garden are splendid. The town of Falkland itself is like something from a fairy tale, beautiful architecture nestled in the foot of East Lomand. There isn’t a lot in the town, but there’s enough (a shop, bakery and pub/restaurant as well as a few tea rooms). The only thing that could possibly make it better is if there were a few blankets available, it was chilly when we were there and I felt bad putting the heating on all of the time. This is very minor though. People with dogs; be aware that the garden isn’t secure and there are sheep in the field that backs onto the house and garden. Makes for beautiful scenes on a morning but some dogs may not do well with this. Thanks so much Annie for having us. The people of Falkland were so welcoming and we would love to come back!

Second time I’ve stayed here absolutely love it so clean and cosy!! Bread, milk, orange juice and even chocolate for guests! Such a nice touch! Thank you so much for another lovely stay x

Mark was incredibly helpful with local recommendations and responsive with questions regarding the property. Hot tub was amazing and garden would be lovely to spend time in the summer with lots to do! Fridge was stocked full of cans of juice, beer, cocktails and kids drinks. Plenty of snacks etc too. Would highly recommend
