We had such a lovely stay here—it truly felt like a little haven in the midst of a very stressful period. We had originally booked a different Airbnb but had to leave due to how unclean it was. Arriving here was quite literally a breath of fresh (and clean!) air. The apartment was spotless, comfortable, and welcoming from the moment we walked in. It’s clear a lot of thought has gone into making it a relaxing, well-kept space. The location is fantastic—being so close to the woods made for such a peaceful atmosphere. Our cats settled in immediately (a stark contrast to the previous place), and we honestly wish we could have stayed a couple more nights! We’ve just completed the sale of our new home, and this apartment was the perfect place to land while we waited. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a calm, clean, and cosy space. Best host we’ve come across! We were staying between a trip to Woburn Safari & Legoland with our little boy. Louise welcomed us as we arrived & was kind enough to show our boy their horses, geese, chickens & even let him sit on their pony. Felt welcomed from the off, the place is beautiful & if we’re ever over that way again we will be staying!!

We had a fantastic time at Annabel's barn. Located in a very calm and charming area surrounded by woods and the superb Chiltern Hills, it is the perfect place to relax, go for a walk or a good basis to visit pretty villages nearby like Marlow or Henley or even London (40 mins train to Central London), Oxford or Windsor like we did. The barn is very nicely decorated, spacious, perfectly clean and very well equiped. Princess Risborough village center is at a 5 min drive with all necessary grocery stores and a great local butcher. Annabel was a very responsive, welcoming host and really made us feel at home. We really hope to have the opportunity to come back next year to continue our visit of the region.
