Bed and breakfast holiday rentals in St. George

I love Maine's working waterfront and even though my stay was in the off season there was a wonderful glimpse into our fishing economy and the hard work it takes to keep it happening. The quality of light in the unit was amazing, and viewing the moon across the water was stunning. Easy to access all that the midcoast has to offer within an easy ride, to Rockland and Damariscotta and Boothbay and Wiscasset -- my favorite spots. Beautiful places nearby to hike and explore. Onsite staff people Debbie and Blair were wonderful; when I had an issue with the internet -- it was fixed quickly. Unit was well equipped for a person who loves to cook. Also having a bathtub in a waterfront apartment was a plus since many don't have them. Clean, comfortable, safe-feeling -- all one could want in a Maine coastal vacation. Wish I could have stayed longer but instead I'll just plan to go back again.

This is a beautiful place for 12 people to gather and celebrate. We filled the house with love, joy, and music. Tracey is responsive and helpful. Fantastic!

Shirley and Mac are fabulous hosts! I felt welcomed the second I was met at the door and feel like I left friends behind not just hosts. The house is lovely and it was wonderful to relax by the wood stove and spend time sharing stories. The bedroom is cozy, the bed super comfortable and the bathroom is immaculate (as is the entire house) The house is rural and so very peaceful yet just a quick drive to Belfast. I highly recommend a stay here.

Great home and rooms. We were fortunate to stay at the end of the seasons and were therefore alone as the walls are thin and there is only one bathroom for 4 rooms (up to 8 persons). If you stay there a car or uber/swyft account is necessary as you have to walk an hour to get to Portland. Public transport to Portland or, even worse, to other places, is almost non existent in the region. Such a pity as it is absolutely beautiful.

What a wonderful time we had staying with Libbey and Jeep. It was a beautiful house in a beautiful setting, we were comfortable and very happy with the accommodations. Most of all, we really enjoyed talking with and getting to know our hosts!

Had a wonderful time at Daniel’s Airbnb! We were greeted with a warm reception and delicious apple cake with delicious sweet tea! I can’t say enough good things about Daniel and his beautiful home. We felt right at home. He gave us great recommendations for restaurants and things to do in the area. Our accommodations were very comfortable. Best part was the delicious breakfast with coffee and tea and scrumptious omelette with homemade hash browns! I wanted the recipe! I highly recommend Daniel’s place, it made our vacation a little more special! PS: Reds Eats in Wiscasset Maine was the best ( Paul Newman and Robert Redford ate there too) Thanks for the recommendation!!

We absolutely loved staying at Harbour Cottage. We went on what we thought would be one of the busiest weekends of the year, but the location is so perfect and peaceful it allowed us a place to relax after a day of exploring Acadia. So nice to get away from the crowds. The food is incredible- don’t skip breakfast! Dora was so friendly and you can tell she is invested in her guests having a great stay. Hope we will be back soon!

Sue and Eric were lovely hosts; Sue's breakfasts were amazing - just the homemade touch we were looking for after a long road trip. Eric had plenty of recommendations, from tidal pools to hiking spots in Acadia. The B&B was cozy and had so many books to pick up and read. Lamoine beach, just down the road, made for a very pleasant early morning walk. I'd recommend Sue and Eric's place to anyone coming to Acadia!
