Our thatched, 200-year-old farmhouse is idyllically situated between the North Sea dike, approximately 500 metres away, and the small village of Seefeld, right in front of the Butjadingen peninsula. We are proud of the particularly friendly atmosphere that we enjoy here with our guests year after year. In the village, an old gallery – the Holländermühle – awaits you, along with a monthly farmers’ market run by local women. Butjadingen, Oldenburg, Bremerhaven and Wilhelmshaven offer a wide range of leisure activities for everyone.

Surrounded by pastures with grazing cows, our 2018 renovated holiday home is located in the middle of the countryside, which used to be a small farm. The North Sea dike of the southern Jade bus is a 2km away. The idyllically located house is also ideal for a multi-generational vacation, for 2 friendly families or even for a holiday with friends. The large garden with adjoining sunbathing lawn and play equipment is fenced in and therefore suitable for small children and four-legged friends.

I am happy to pass on my cottage to people passing through or vacationers. It is centrally located in the village near the dyke. Shopping is within walking distance. Linens and towels included 3 bicycles (adult) + 1 children's 20-inch can be booked by arrangement for a small fee. E-bike on request as well. Public transportation is within easy reach. The garden in southwest location offers a garden house, seating, lounger and a relaxing hanging swing

In the beautiful Ammerland, right on the city border to Oldenburg, lies the Gerberhof. Two bright, modern apartments have been created here from an old pigsty. Get on your bike and start beautiful tours to Bad Zwischenahn, Rastede and Oldenburg from here. In 20 minutes, you can also reach the North Sea coast by car. We want you to relax, with good books, in a quiet but cozy environment, with only greenery and tranquility in front of the windows.

Enjoy the North Sea. The vacation home is just a few minutes' walk from the dike and the mouth of the Weser River. The vacation home is particularly well equipped and leaves nothing to be desired. Enjoy your evenings in front of the cozy warm fireplace in the living room or outside on the terrace. When it gets cooler outside, a warming heater can be switched on at the touch of a button.
