a lovely, quirky place to stay in a really beautiful part of the West coast. As you would expect from a shepherd's hut, everything is very compact and has been well thought through to maximise the space. Paul and Caroline were friendly and very helpful with tips and recommendations of places to visit in our limited time. Sanna Bay was spectacular!

My partner and I stayed on the island for 4 nights over Easter weekend, and were completely enchanted by Gometra and the bothy. It was easier than we expected to get there, with the helpful community transport available on Mull, and the on-demand ferry between Mull and Ulva. A gentle 3.5 hr hike from Ulva Ferry, the bothy was easy to find, located at the foot of a crag with a beautiful view of the coast. The well-stocked honesty shop was around 1km away, making it easy to pick up what we needed for meals each day. The island was very peaceful, occasionally running into Roc and Rhoda, while Andy kept us well stocked with firewood . Our hosts were very responsive to messages and made a remote stay feel very easy to accomplish! The wood-burning stove was an absolute must, and we enjoyed being off grid and electricity-free for a long weekend of exploring, reading and relaxing.

Eugenie's place wonderfully cozy & warm. It reminded us of the family's summer holiday cottage we went to as kids. The Cabin is very convenient to Dervaig & Tobermory. A great island hideaway.

Celia and Phils hut is a lovely little, minimalistic island on an island, very charming and in a great position to go on walks nearby, as well as exploring Mull. We saw dears and birds from our window in a wide open scenery - really enjoyed our stay. Free range eggs, so no need to buy them in advance! Sorry Celia, i broke a cup when we left, but forgot to mention!!! All the best to you and thanks again, Andrea
