Our self contained studio accommodation, is located in the garden area of the property and features a lovely view of our garden. It is perfect for guests seeking a comfortable and private base to enjoy and explore the beautiful Staffordshire Moorlands, Peak District & Alton Towers. There are 3 local country pubs serving food (walking distance) Fishing pool & recreation ground.

There is lots to do like rock climbing the Churnet valley Boulders, Eating and drinking at the 4 pubs of Alton. Walking the staffordshire way or exploring the many forest tracks on your doorstep. You may want a fun packed day at Alton Towers park or spa. Cook on the BBQ, sit on your tree swing or relax in our Hot Tub or toast marshmallows on your fire pit and listen to the owls hoot.

Meadow View in the village of Lower Penn sits in the South Staffordshire countryside, located in a quiet country lane, with private entrance. Downstairs it has bathroom and shower, and the upstairs annex offers comfortable sleeping with king size bed and lovely views across the meadow. Parking is available right outside. The Greyhound Pub has an excellent menu plus real ales, and is a 5 minute walk away, with many other restaurants with takeaway/delivered food available within a 3 mile radius.

Local pubs in Butterton, Hulme End and Warslow. Lovely local towns nearby include Ashbourne, Buxton, Bakewell and Leek. Grindon is the perfect get away for those craving peace and tranquility.

‘The Loft’ at Peake’s Retreats is a self-contained, self catering accomodation with private hot tub. An annex to the main farmhouse the loft is only accessed by you and not shared with the farmhouse or other guests. A private entrance takes you into the kitchen with a cloakroom area. A very quiet location accessed by means of a single track road. There is plenty of off-road parking and outside seating space to chill and unwind after a hectic day. The Peak District is within a short drive away.

Meet our animals whilst wandering our fields or walk from the property in to Dimmingsdale & Alton village. We’re a 5 minute drive to Alton Towers.

Our family of 5 people plus an Airedale Terrier will give you a warm welcome and will do everything we can to help you enjoy your stay. Simply furnished and comfortable, you can relax inside the cottage or explore the garden - the patio, the hammock, the fire-pit, or the BBQ, or just sitting in the damson orchard admiring the blossom!
