Holiday rentals with beach access in Stanley

The stay at Alice's place was ideal for us arriving on the Spirit into Devonport and located a few minutes from the ferry terminal and was great to begin settling in for the evening. The location was ideal with the seaside opposite and some great parklands and walking trails and also only 10 minutes into Devonport and all the amenities there. Alice was able to provide some insight into local attractions in the area to enjoy. Overall a great place, ideally located and handy to most facilities.

Could not fault this stay. Andrea is a great host. Highly recommend

We loved our stay. Perfect accommodation, could not fault it. Comfy bed, lots of hanging space in robe, spacious bathroom with heated towel rails, kitchen well appointed and lounge well styled with a nice outlook. Exactly as described. Could see sun rise from kitchen window and sun set from lounge. Enjoyed our evening walks along the beach. Cathryn was a lovely host and provided prompt communication when needed. Will definitely stay again. Thank you Cathryn.

We had a great stay, it was so clean it felt like we were the very first guests! The kitchen area was small but it had everything you could need to cook for yourself. The space was cosy and private and easy distance to walk to the beach. (Although walking back is a bit steep!) We loved our short stay and as frequent visitors to the area I am sure we will be back.

Highly recommended! We absolutely LOVE Wendy’s place The Grove. Our second time staying, this time for 8 nights. Perfect from the moment we walked in! Warm, stylish, comfortable, with that luxury hotel feel and smell. So fresh, clean and welcoming, with treats to eat and everything we needed for a longer stay. Very comfortable beds, quiet for sleeping and lots of wardrobe space. Great dishwasher, washing machine and private clothes line outside. Wendy you are the perfect host, friendly and thoughtful with excellent communication. Thank you for having us.

We had such a beautiful, soft landing here after 3 days of travel with small children. Nicole & Jarrods attention to detail is second to none. They go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and at home. The space is warm and inviting, the children's room has special little touches for small people and the soft furnishings throughout the entire house are so thoughtful. We cooked dinner most nights in the well equipped kitchen and we ate out on the deck gazing across the Bass Strait. The firepit was ready to toast marshmallows and the spa was warm and waiting for us. It really was a magical time in Penguin thanks to this place and it makes you really appreciate when hosts go all out and are so good at what they do.

Wow - a truly spectacular home. We had a wonderful one night stay and were made to feel so welcome. Views are amazing from every room and you feel relaxed the minute you arrive. Wish we could have stayed longer.

A really nice place to stay in a really nice spot I would love to stay there again

This is an amazing home, perfect for a couple of families, or couples or a big family like ours. There’s so many living area options both indoors and out. Little shelves with books wherever you find a comfy spot to sit. Everything you could possibly need.

Second visit and just as perfect as the first time. Beautiful property inside and out. Louise is a great host.

We had a great stay at the property. Loved the art Deco furniture for something a bit different, and it fitted in with the style of the town. Bed was very comfortable too!
