Holiday rentals in Stanton Long

Silvie's Cottage is a true delight! Welcoming, extremely well equipped, spotlessly clean and feels like a home from home with lots of extra touches. Off road parking in a lovely residential street which is only a short stroll into Church Stretton and a choice of walks straight from the door with no need to use a car. The garden is lovely and adds to the overall atmosphere of a warm welcoming cottage. We loved our few days stay, would highly recommend and plan to return again....hopefully soon! Haley met us as we arrived, and let us in. We were made to feel very welcome. large drive to park on outside the annex. The apartment is spotless, and large. The bed is extremely comfortable and very homely. Access to the back garden from the bedroom patio doors, able to sit out with breakfast. It was perfect for our weekend stay visiting friends and an evening out. Freshly laid eggs for breakfast too! Milk tea and coffee waiting for us. This was our first visit. It will be our first choice each time we are in the area. Ideal location.

Felicity was great from the start! Very helpful with information about the cottage. The cottage was perfect and peaceful, amazing place to relax and unwind after a full day with 4 children at alton towers! Everything was clean. Couldnt have asked for a better place to stay :), will definitely look at making this our place to stay when we do our trips to Alton :)

We had a wonderful stay at Katie‘s place. Katie was so responsive from before we decided to book and was extremely helpful from start to finish. The property is beautiful as are the surroundings and we had everything we needed for our one night stay. Great walks from the Property and lots of nature all around! Highly recommend and will definitely be back! Thank you Katie for your flexibility, responsiveness and allowing us to check in early :)

My husband and I had a fantastic stay at Mary's place! The cottage is just as described and in a beautiful and peaceful location. All of the instructions Mary provided were easy to follow, and while we didn't meet in person, Mary was communicative and available if needs be. We hope to return again soon!

Brilliant place for a re set if thats what your looking for as we were. Outdoor bath was amazing, views beautiful, canin really cute and comfy. Firepit was lovely too. The other 4 cabins are closeby but you do manage to get your privacy. Dont hesitate its fab!!

The Scrumpy Hut was very comfortable, warm, clean and cosy. The kitchenette was well kitted out, our first time using an air fryer but was great! The hut has lovely private views of Sugar Loaf and Skirrid all from the luxury of an outdoor bath! A few days without telly was a dream and searching through the puzzles and games provided was very wholesome ...breakfast basket was delicious too. Our kids loved their bedroom and playing with Scrumpy that dog, they didn't want to leave!

Superb accommodation. So many thoughtful and considerate touches. Furnishings very comfortable. Pristine. Very comfortable beds with excellent bedding. Excellent en-suite showers with overhead and handheld. My disabled mother was very comfortable here - easy shower access. The setting is beautiful- need a few days here to truly explore all what is on offer at the Stables. 2 days not enough.

Such a lovely private spacious house and garden. A great set up for a break away with our extended family. Plenty of room to get together to cook, eat and socialise, then split off for some more quiet time when needed. Everything was clean and tidy, and we had all we needed. A beautiful location and very near to hay on wye which is worth a visit. Only slight downside is that the internet wasn’t brilliant, but that’s to be expected in the middle of the countryside and also meant we weren’t sat on our phones scrolling too much! The internet did work, just not super fast. Definitely recommend, and we’ll be looking to book again.
