Monthly Rentals in Start Bay

We came to Mat and Megan’s flat for a friend’s birthday, we loved sitting on the balcony and looking at the lake and we also walked to a nearby beach and visited Torquay. The flat had everything we needed and was very tidy. The sound of the waves was very relaxing. We arrived early and Mat messaged us back straight away telling us we could check in early which was great. Overall, a great location and great hosts. Very well thought out.

Almost hesitate to share just how spectacular the views are and how comfortable the place is - as we will never get to book again! Beautiful location and delicious cafe and pub food to hand. Beach and wildlife Ley to yourself early and late and locals who come and go for swims and fish and chips are super friendly. Absolutely idyllic.

Had a wonderful stay at Sunnyview. The place was compact but really well thought out to maximise the space with some clever features. Super clean and right on the beach. Free parking on the triangle was available through out our stay. Torcross was peaceful and plenty of walks on the doorstep and close to the beach. Highly recommend Bear and Blacksmith for food, the local farm shop is worth a visit, and a trip to Dartmouth to go on the stream train is fun day out too. There are a couple of cafes on the sea front and Start Bay inn both walkable from the property.

Beautiful stay in a beautiful location. Felt right at home and very sad to leave. Jaquine and Garry were both so friendly and welcoming. We loved it so much. The accommodation was comfortable and clean with lots of lovely touches. We loved the prosecco, breakfast and names on the wall. Cant wait to come back - thank you!
