We absolutely LOVED our stay at Rob's place! We have never felt so at peace in our lives. We were able to take a boat out in the morning and we ended up being the only ones on the water it was so quiet and peaceful. The house itself is gorgeous, comfortable and has everything we needed. We will definitely be back!!!

Loved staying in this very special place. Great to be able to use the bikes aswell. Carin and Pieter were the perfect hosts, attentive but not invasive of our privacy. The house was small but perfect for two people and absolutely everything you could need was provided and to the best quality. The bed was super comfy and myself and my Husband slept for 12 hours on the first night- unheard of! Shower was great and kitchen, although small had everything needed,even a small oven! Could not have been better for us and will hopefully come and visit again next year- all being well. Fabulous place. Thanks so much for a wonderful, relaxing and peaceful weekend. Sarah

Rosetta was a super host. Very friendly and accommodating. If your there on a Friday, do order the pizza. Both the pizza and breakfast were delicious. The place was a perfect mix. Close enough to bike there but far enough to enjoy the peaceful area and listening to the birds.

Beautiful and immaculate cottage in peaceful area with easy access to Giethoorn. We enjoyed the area and use of the canoe. The cottage has been decorated with lots of attention to charming details and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Corina is a welcoming and very responsive host. We would be happy to stay again.

We had a great stay with our 3 children. The terrace is secured (you should be able to block the small gate on the side for the little ones). The place is very peaceful and relaxing. The house has everything you need for a good stay (maybe add a small toaster). We will recommend this place to our friends without hesitation. Thank you to our host.

Awesome spot for an overnight solo traveler like me. A little walking required if taking public transit but it’s a comfy place and Rosetta provided plenty of delicious food for breakfast. Would come again.

A golden spot on the water in Friesland

We really enjoyed the Christmas holidays and the turn of the year in your beautifully decorated house. We felt like at home from the first second. Decorated with a lot of love for detail, even with a decorated Christmas tree, invited you to linger - whether at the large dining table with many board games or in the cozy sitting area by the crackling fireplace when reading a book. The property located directly on the water is also wonderful for watching nature and birds at sunrise or sunset or taking beautiful walks in the area with the dog and visiting small towns. During our stay we lacked nothing. Paul was a fantastic host who proactively responded to open questions within minutes. We also had the opportunity to check out later. The house is the perfect place to get away from the stressful everyday life and unwind.
