Nice and authentic northern house from 1860! The house has been renovated with new bathrooms from 2017 and new kitchens from 2020. The house is located in Steigen on beautiful Engeløya that offers great fishing, midnight sun and panoramic views of the Lofotväggen! The house has 4 bedrooms, 8 beds! Large open kitchen with dining table for 10 people as well as spacious living room with wooden oven and large delicious sofas! Right outside the door you have nice hiking areas, just 170 meters to the sea and sun until almost half past twelve in the evening!

Relax with the whole family in this unique residence. The cabin is very idyllic in peaceful surroundings right by the sea. Take a refreshing swim in the sea right outside the cabin and enjoy the sauna afterwards! Our guests appreciate a good standard in scenic surroundings, fabulous views and a great outdoor area. An excellent starting point for fine mountain hikes and good restaurant visits. There are also good fishing opportunities in the nearby area. Short distance (about 10 minutes by car) to the shop and speedboat dock.

The Old House of our farm, charming house with a spectacular mountain wiew! The house is built about 1880, the bathroom and the kitchen is renovated. Here you can travel back in time, no tv.. The stairs scueecs, and the floor can be a bit cold in the winter, but all is forgotten when you fire up the fireplace. The island is perfect for hiking, biking and kajaking. Check in after 4 p.m, check out before 12 a.m. Transportation to or from the boat can be arranged. We wish you a peaceful stay.

Røtnes is a beautiful bay on the stunning island of Engeløya, just opposite the Lofoten Islands. On the island you can find pristine, white beaches, mountains and valleys and the sea is crystal clear with plenty of fish. In our homestead we have a generous size barn where we have an artist studio, workshops and the guest studio apartment that we offer up as Air B&B. A wooden rowing boat, a canoe, kayaks and bikes to rent in spring, summer and autumn.

Situated close to Buksnesfjorden, which goes into Leknes city, which again is only 15 minutes away by car and has all the shops you need, as well as restaurants and cafes. At Mortsund, a few stone's throw away, you will also find a wonderfully nice restaurant and an experience center.

Hamsun Lodge - Unique Accommodation

Idyllic between majestic trees and with an adventurous view is Hamsun Lodge. The house belonged to Knut Hamsun's farm Skogheim when the author himself lived on Hamarøy from 1911 to 1917. Today the house is arranged for overnight stays for 2-6 people.
