You can’t get any closer to the ocean! This is special. This is where artists are inspired. If you love nature and need quiet, calm and anonymity, look no further. The sunsets are unrivaled. Hike the preserve. Stare at the ever-changing ocean. Lobster boats come right up close to our pink granite, deep water frontage. No mudflats here. Floor -to -ceiling glass in the cozy cottage gives the illusion of being on a boat. Easy access to the island by bridge. Come breathe!

This brand new bungalow is located nearby another cottage I have been renting for 20 years--"Steps to Acadia National Park." (Check those reviews) Fully equipped, light filled, and airy. Walk to the ocean from the cottage and enjoy coffee along the shore in Acadia National Park on the Schoodic Peninsula. At night, marvel at the stars you can almost reach up and touch. Walk, drive, run, or bicycle the scenic, 12-mile loop road that winds along the ocean and ends at your doorstep.

Walk to the Causeway via the Grover Path in 15 minutes. 5-minute walk to the Cadillac South Ridge Trail. Large high-ceiling studio with private parking and entrance with beautiful sheltered second-story deck. We are on the Blackwoods/Bar Harbor bus route so you can catch the free Island Explorer LL Bean buses to Bar Harbor and back.
