Winchester is also accessible by foot ( 45 mins) or a short 5 minute train or bus away. London is an hour by train and other local attractions include Marwell Zoo, Peppa Pig World, South Coast, Portsmouth and New Forest.

Idyllic quaint rural retreat close to Stonehenge

The Coach House, a characterful newly renovated cottage located in the village of Thruxton, famous for its race circuit, north of Winchester. Stylishly furnished, the two-bedroom cottage is well placed to explore the Cathedral City of Salisbury, walks across Salisbury Plains, the pretty town of Stockbridge on the famous chalk streams of the River Test, the New Forest and its surrounds. With Stonehenge, Highclere (Downton Abbey), the Jane Austen Museum & the south coast, there is plenty to do!

Beautiful Winterberry Barn ,With Hot tub

WinterBerry Barn is a gorgeous 1 bedroom cottage with everything you could possibly need for a cosy country getaway. It has a beautiful wood fired hot tub .Every aspect of the property is finished to the highest standard. Oak finish throughout with raw natural beams flowing through the property to really give it that warm country feel. Close to all the wonderful local amenities such as the beautiful market town of romsey only a 5 minute drive! Also the beautiful historic city of Winchester.

A truly grand sized 500 year old thatched cottage at the edge of the new forest. The cottage features large rooms with an olde world charm but all the modern luxuries you would expect, from Sonos speakers to smart TVs. Large eat in kitchen area, walk in fridge, 3/4 acre private garden with multiple water features and BBQ in the Summer months. Truly grand master bedroom and spacious, comfortable rooms throughout. Set in a quiet location close to Romsey and 10 mins from Peppa Pig World.

Cosy comfortable cottage

No4, Railway Cottage was originally home to the local railway workers and now offers cosy comfortable accommodation, with lovely views across open fields and a wonderful private, sunny garden for lazy afternoons and al fresco dining. The garden is a particular attraction, providing various areas for relaxing, including a small fruit orchard, part of which is kept as a wildflower meadow. The cottage is primarily set up for 4 guests but possible to sleep 6 by using sofa-bed in dining room.
