We had the most magical stay. The property is incredibly private, peaceful, and spacious — surrounded by breathtaking views and sunsets. We especially loved the outdoor bath and cold trough (so refreshing!), cozy evenings with the movie projector and DVD selection, visits from the friendly sheep, and the charming undercover patio with swings. There was so much to enjoy both on the property and nearby—a short bike ride to Hosanna for coffee, a lovely day trip to Uki, and a visit to the Tweed Regional Gallery. Jaime was an exceptional host—thoughtful, responsive, and full of warm touches like a beautiful welcome basket, fresh native flowers, and even arranging in-house massages with a wonderful local therapist. The cottage has such unique charm and offers everything you could need. We truly didn’t want to leave.

Bromeliad cottage was a perfect place to spend a few days - it had everything we needed and the area had a lot to do. We love hiking so Lisa went through a lot of walks as well as providing helpful guidebooks. Also we loved the DVDs, books, and games as there was a bit of down-time due to weather. Must have a car - it is a few kms from Uki but not a walkable road.

I wish we’d experienced this space as a getaway and not under the emergency accommodation arrangement we had (insurance). This was a lovely space regardless. Jade has thought of every possible creature comfort beyond what you would ordinarily experience with an AirBnB. The photos are deceptive. It was a very spacious 2 BR home with enough separation between rooms so as to feel like you were not on top of each other. We arrived at night so was such a delight to take it all in as the sun rose the next day. We would highly recommend Jades Cottage to anyone looking to escape to the country for a relaxed weekend, and for those looking for a place to take in the beauty and diversity the Tweed Valley has to offer.
