Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Stornoway

Joan was super responsive. Although her instructions were limited to 2 pages, she answered any question I had within minutes. The area is lovely and she recommended The Brewery, which is a great restaurant with a wide selection of beers brewed on the premises. She also recommended a local weaver, which was a highlight of our stay. The house had what we needed. The heating boost was easy to use.

5 Crulivig is situated in the most idyllic of locations - nestled beside serene Loch Barraglom, surrounded by the wonderfully wild colour pallette of ochres, slate blues & hazey purples of the surrounding moorland. Together with all the animal wildlife, it makes 5 Crulivig an absolutely stunning place to be! The cottage itself is very well appointed, immaculately clean and delightfully cozy - just the ticket! Both John & Dolina were very friendly, generous and always on hand to answer any queries. All in all, 5 Crulivig is a fabulous spot from where to go on to explore the rest of the wonderful Western Isles.

Great house in a quiet location. We were very comfortable and it was well equipped. A short walk to the supermarket and a nice walk to the centre of Stornoway. Perfect short stay, thank you!

We had a lovely stay at Janet’s air bnb. Great location. It was very clean and cosy. Janet was a great host and very supportive when our ferry was cancelled! We would definitely stay again/recommend to friends ☺️

we had a wonderful stay at the Mackay house. It was just as described, plenty of room, clean and very well equipped with everything one will need. Communication was great. Christina was there to meet us right as we arrived and she went through everything about the house with us. Very helpful. Thank you for everything. we hope to return and stay again!

We had a lovely stay at Tigh na Beart, helped of course by the most amazing weather, which can't always be guaranteed! It's in a perfect location and we enjoyed just going out and roaming above the coastline cliffs, and to the most local beach. We took a dip at one of the other beaches not far away. We weren't intending travelling far this trip, but there is plenty of interest within short driving distances. And stunning Outer Hebridean scenery everywhere. As described, it is a little place, so creativity might be required for food storage, depending how much you're eating in, and how much you've brought. But the fridge has a freezer section within it, which we found very helpful. Tall people be warned that a few bumps to the head might be in store, despite the friendly sign at the front door! A wonderful place though to take the opportunity to just 'be'. And Joey and Alasdair couldn't have been better on communication and friendliness.

A beautiful little place in the peaceful setting of Port Ness. Chris was very helpful with detailed instructions so finding the place, getting in and figuring out heating etc was super easy. The house is spotless, well decorated, quiet and comfortable - all you can ask for. Walking distance to Eoropie beach and about 40 minutes drive from Stornoway, which adds to the quiet experience. Highly recommended and would stay again

This is a fantastic cottage with wonderful views in a truly unique part of the world. The house was spotlessly clean, recently decorated and in keeping with the character and history of the building. We arrived late at night and the locally sourced welcome pack was delicious and very welcome indeed! Great internet connection. Our host was kind, helpful and responsive, and the directions were extremely useful and helped us out when satnav failed! I would recommend without hesitation and hope very much to return. Many thanks for a memorable and enjoyable stay.

One of the best stays I’ve had. Ideal location for exploring Stornoway. Near many restaurants and shopping. Flat was spacious and clean. Well stocked for cooking, soap for laundry, cleaning supplies. And cute additions like candles and blankets. Very clean and cozy!

The apartment was great! It was clean, very comfortable and well laid out, walking proximity to downtown was incredible, and communication with Etta was quick and informative. She was very accommodating and hospitable. We would stay again and recommend to friends!

Great location to the town centre, restaurants and cafes. Beautiful location across the road from the river and castle gardens. Spacious and well equipped flat.

lain met us and we immediately felt at home. The flat was warm and sunny. Everything we needed was there and we were very comfortable. The walk to town was easy and Iain had mentioned several places to eat which we found useful. A great stay.

We stayed 4 nights during HebCelt. The apartment is in a perfect location with everything in walking distance. There is ample parking available and everything that you could possibly wish for in the apartment. Everything was extremely clear, WiFi was fast. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again!

Lovely stay in a nice and spacious apartment close to everything one could want to see or do in town - the castle is but a short walk away and having a shop right opposite the place was just incredibly convenient. We particularly loved just how comfortable and cozy the living room was with all of its nooks for sitting and reading etc., it was just lovely staying here.

Malcolm’s place was just what we needed, clean and comfortable for a nights stay between ferry journeys. It was easy to find and close enough to Stornaway to walk around the town and harbour. Malcolm was really friendly and helpful. The TV with Netflix was great as was the welcome hamper left for us. Many thanks!
