Our cottage sleeps 5-6 and is nestled in the Cotswold escarpment below Rodborough Common with over 300 acres of open countryside giving dramatic views over Stroud and the Severn Vale. Off the beaten track but only a short walk to Stroud. A great place to stay anytime of the year but with a woodburner it is very cosy in the winter. Only 1.5hrs by train from London. Loads of good walks nearby inc Cotswold Way. Short drives to Bristol, Cirencester, Gloucester and Cheltenham. Highchair,cot, stairgate available.

This listed Grade 2 landmark building has been restored as a gem of a holiday home, with contemporary comfort and style, surmounted by lantern and cupola. Enjoy open plan living in traditional style on the ground floor, and as you head up through the house you'll find cosy bedrooms and old machinery still in place, a relic of times past. Wooden beams, comfortable beds and new bathrooms.

This property offers a peaceful and relaxing holiday. we have a local shop in the village run by local volunteers offering a good friendly service with an array of local produce. Next to the shop is the village recreation ground with a designated play area suitable for a game of football or even a picnic. The local Old Fox pub and restaurant is a 5 minute walk from the cottage , a very popular place to eat and it would be advisable to book in advance to avoid disappointment.

The barn was once used as the dye house for the working cloth mill in the 1800's, however during the war the dye house was repurposed as a cowshed and now recently converted into a home.

This is an idyllic location with stunning views but many amenities and attractions are within walking distance.
