A lovely, cosy (with complete privacy) holiday cottage in the beautiful Frisian water sports village of Woudsend. The village is located in the heart of the Frisian lake district. You will be staying with the harbour master of Woudsend, Corine. The cottage's flower garden (butterfly garden) offers plenty of privacy and is situated right below the 't Lam' corn mill. Come here to unwind with your loved one, away from the hustle and bustle. You will find peace and quiet, and you will be woken by the sounds of tits, blackbirds and sparrows (and sometimes, on Sundays, by the church bells). Tastefully decorated vacation home with a spacious terrace and views over the IJsselmeer. Please note when booking: The annual Stavers festival will take place on the nearby grounds, mid-June 2026. On the Hidaard mound, you will stay in the stylish front house of our old farmhouse, with its own entrance and facilities. Our house has a spacious kitchen-diner and 2 bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms. If you book for 2 people, you will get the ground floor, i.e. the kitchen and 1 bedroom. If you want to use 2 bedrooms, you must book for at least 3 people. Wake up to the sound of birdsong, panoramic views and the cosy warmth of the wood-burning stove.
