Cozy vacation cottage in Woudsend

A lovely, cosy (with complete privacy) holiday cottage in the beautiful Frisian water sports village of Woudsend. The village is located in the heart of the Frisian lake district. You will be staying with the harbour master of Woudsend, Corine. The cottage's flower garden (butterfly garden) offers plenty of privacy and is situated right below the 't Lam' corn mill. Come here to unwind with your loved one, away from the hustle and bustle. You will find peace and quiet, and you will be woken by the sounds of tits, blackbirds and sparrows (and sometimes, on Sundays, by the church bells). De Oude Smederij

Enjoy and relax in the Frisian countryside? This is possible with us in De Oude Smederij, which was formerly a forge but has been completely renovated into a comfortable vacation home. The Oude Smederij is located in an agricultural area on the outskirts of the village of Arum (on the Elfsteden route) and is centrally located between Harlingen (on the Wadden Sea with ferry services to Vlieland and Terschelling), Franeker (Planetarium and Frisian Museum), Bolsward (Broerekerk) and Makkum, located on the IJsselmeer with boulevard and beach.

Also in July 2026, the 18th edition of the Stavoren fishing days will be held nearby. The exact dates are not yet known. This beautiful house right on the dike can accommodate up to 6 people. The centerpiece is the spacious terrace with its breathtaking view of the IJsselmeer. Whether spending time in the sun or watching the numerous surfers, sailing boats or water birds. Everyone really gets their money's worth here. The house was furnished with a lot of love to a high standard. Appliances such as a Bora hob and a Quooker hot water tap were installed in the kitchen. We look forward to seeing you.

When you check in, you can take a key to the property from the key box at the bottom left by the front door, and the entire property will be at your disposal!
