Holiday rentals with lake access in Súdwest-Fryslân

We had a great stay at Steffen's place. The house was equipped as described, which we have rarely experienced so far, so that we felt very comfortable. The kids went on a voyage of discovery right away and found plenty to deal with wonderfully. We stayed in the house just before Easter and we didn't get bored. Most of the restaurants etc were already open at least on weekends. Only the boat tours start after our departure on April 19. (as information for successors who want to travel in the same period... :-)) Steffen responded super quickly and looked for solutions to problems and always had them ready. We stayed in this lovely cottage for a week in early April. It is located on a marina, surrounded by water and meadows, we enjoyed the wide view and sat a lot in the wind-protected seating area. Overall, the weather was much better than expected, and when it got cold, the oven made the living room very cozy for us. The house is large, beautiful and functionally furnished, with eight people we had enough space. We will be happy to come back!

We felt completely comfortable in Stavoren. The accommodation was beautifully located, overlooking Lake Ijssel and plenty of space to play and run for our daughter. The place was well equipped, the only drawback perhaps that there was only one toilet available for 2 families. But no problem for us! The area around the accommodation was also beautiful, with some beaches, shopping and beautiful towns that could be reached within an hour. Absolute recommendation!

The house was exactly as described. It was very clean. The hosts wrote to us a week in advance. And responded quickly to questions. We also received an accurate description of how to get to the house. You enter the house and immediately feel comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped and there is everything you need. A delicious sweet surprise was also on the table for us. Irene and George are great hosts. We will definitely be coming back.

Stayed here for two nights with my kids. We loved the house! Very fully furnished, everything was present in the beautiful kitchen. Despite the bad weather, we had a great time!

We were very positively surprised by the accommodation and felt very comfortable. The garden was very nice and perfect for our little dog and the kids. Froukje is a very nice hostess who welcomed us warmly and gave us some tips for the area. Check-in was also uncomplicated and there were even snacks ready. The apartment was very clean and there was everything you needed in it. The distance to the dog beach is super close and the right beach is adjacent. The city is a little further on foot, but also easily accessible and really nice . We would recommend this place and would book it again.

The place was very nice and well maintained, we felt right at home! Everything was available in the house...from baking paper, Zewa, etc. to Maggi, the kitchen was well stocked. the host Patricia was very friendly and helpful. The location is nice and quiet with direct views of the water... It all worked out and we can only recommend the place!

We had a top stay in this lovely Frisian house. The highlights: - The many toys and extensive facilities for children. Our toddler is still talking about the trampoline and all the toys in the play loft. - The hot tub in which we enjoyed an amazing starry sky. - Good beds, very important! - The very warm and attentive welcome from the hosts, with lots of tips about the area. - The spacious, nice garden with many corners and seats so you can always catch the sun (or shade) somewhere. In addition, the garden is well enclosed and therefore perfect for small children. - A good complete kitchen to cook well. - In an A location with all kinds of fun activities and facilities within both walking and cycling distance. In short, we'd love to come back to this nice place.

The apartment is very well equipped. In the kitchen, all necessary utensils were available. We had a nice time and felt very comfortable. There is enough space for 8 adults. The location is very nice and the weather also played along. We missed a hair dryer. However, it was not listed as amenities. All in all, a nice stay. 👍🏼 😊

Everything worked out for me, everything was neat and clean. I lacked nothing

Very nice apartment, very comfortable bed, very friendly host. The next day the host gave us a detailed introduction to the surrounding cities and how to drive a boat to visit nearby attractions. Unforgettable travel experience, we will come again.

The apartment was modern, clean and well equipped – everything from the kitchen to the bathroom was right. The location is particularly notable: an absolute dream for anglers! We visited the town of Sneek, which is about 15 minutes away and into the town of Joure, which is about 25 minutes away. Unfortunately, in bad weather, there are hardly any alternatives to do anything else. This should not be considered a criticism of the owner of this apartment, it is just a small note for younger couples. Communication with the host was friendly and straightforward. Overall a completely successful stay – I will be happy to come back!

We had a lovely stay! The host was incredibly warm and welcoming, we immediately felt welcome. The cottage itself is beautiful, cozily furnished and the wood-burning stove provided extra atmosphere and warmth — perfect for a relaxing evening. The surroundings are magnificent, in the middle of nature, ideal for walks and unwind. At the same time, there is plenty to do nearby: nice villages, beautiful routes and activities for everyone. Definitely recommended, we will happy to come back!

Absolutely wondeful cottage on the water - cosy, comfortable and very well thought out. We had a fantastic time going out on the boat (our little 4 year old learned to row!) and sitting on the deck, enjoying watching the ducks and coots. Mike and Denise are very attentive hosts. We miss it already and hope to be back!

It’s a nice peaceful place with beautiful surroundings. Our kid enjoyed both indoor and outdoor park. Definitely a place to come back again!

Had a very nice stay. Good communication with Richard to enter the cottage (he was still on vacation himself). Very clean cottage with all the comforts. Beautiful large garden with views and lots of tranquility. In the summer it seems wonderful to come back here. A double bed is on the landing and this space cannot be locked. With slightly older children, that is easy to do, but given the bed is on an open staircase, I do not recommend this for very young children. Or you have to sleep under a very sloping wall as parents. Underfloor heating was very pleasant. We had a great time in the area! Thank you Richard!

We enjoyed our stay very much. The location right on the water was particularly nice, which is why we also took the opportunity to rent a boat.
