The unique feature of the villa is not just the panoramic view of Villa Fresca on the Adriatic Sea. The villa also has an interesting background story. Villa Fresca was built on the archaeological site of a Roman villa dating back to the 1st century. In honor of the Roman villa on the ground floor of Villa Fresca there is a well-preserved mosaic of the Roman villa, and its remains can be seen in the sea in front of the Villa.
