Monthly Rentals in Sulgrave

Really enjoyed our stay, it was just what we were looking for. A nice peaceful stay in the country set on a beautiful farm in idilic surroundings. The Old Calf Shed is close enough to amenities with them being around a 15 minute drive but far away enough that you cannot hear any traffic so it really is very peaceful. We thoroughly enjoyed walking around and exploring the farm, meeting the farm animals and taking in the fresh country air and scenery. The nearest village is just about a 45 minute stroll. The accommodation itself is plenty big enough for 4 people as described even though there was only 2 of us, so we had plenty of room. The eggs and milk were nice touches and the tea and coffee supplied so that we could have a nice brew when we arrived. The accommodation has plenty of cooking appliances and utensils, we didn’t want for anything. Pauline is a very responsive host, friendly and very welcoming, we could not have wished to have picked a better place to stay. Thank you! X

Victoria was a friendly, helpful host who introduced herself on our arrival and who we saw a couple of times during our stay. The house was just as stated and as exactly as the photos on the listing. It was clean, clutter free. The beds were very comfortable with lovely bedding. We cooked one night in the microwave and airfryer as well as taking advantage of the local places to eat. Very handy to park and take the train to Oxford. A perfect place to stay for couples and families.

Absolutely great hosts, very attentive and friendly. As well as giving us privacy and full use of their beautiful garden throughout our stay. Their patio was a great place to watch the birds and the bats from. This was such an idyllic setting in a stunning tranquil little village. Their lovely dog was also very friendly and would come over to say hello in the evenings and check we were OK. There are lots of local walks from the accommodation and the local pub is less than 5 minute walk around the corner. Also a handy location for a visit to Silverstone. Accommodation had all amenities needed to make for a comfortable stay, a little home away from home. It was a great space and has been done beautifully. For us we would have felt more comfortable with a bathroom door going into the bedroom but that's just personable preference. Would highly recommend staying, and we would definitely visit again next time we're in the area.
