Holiday rentals in Svartagil

The listing and pictures really understate how lovely this place is! Very clean, cozy, yet modern and new feeling. Location was a great jumping off point to Diamond Beach, Glacier Lagoon and hikes. Quiet and beautiful surroundings.

It’s been definitely one of my best AirBnB experience. This cottage is absolutely delightful! We loved every minute of our stay. And Anna Maria is a super welcoming host. I highly recommend this place as a great base for exploring stunning Austurland

The location is wonderful, easily reachable from the ring road. The house is very clean, but in our opinion can host maximum four people. There’s not enough room to stay comfortable in more than four people. Overall we really enjoyed the stay and the views of the landscape! Perfect to watch the northern lights.

You won’t regret staying here ! So cozy with great views!

Elsa greeted us from the start and gave us a full tour of the facilities (the place we were staying + guest kitchen + hot tub + washing area). The place is absolutely lovely and Elsa was so friendly. Highlights were meeting her cat, playing Elsa's old CDs on the kitchen sound system, enjoying the hot tub under the stars, and having Elsa's homemade bread for breakfast. Thank you so much for the stay Elsa!

We had an amazing stay, we hiked up behind the home and saw some beautiful waterfalls. The home was warm and inviting, and the hot tub was perfect!

This was one of our favorite accommodations of our trip around the ring road. We had such a wonderful time spending time in the cabin and walking along the snowy property. There is a hot tub and a cute little glass house to spend time as well. The house is also great for the midpoint of the trip, as you can wash some of your clothes.

Un lugar adorable, cerca de Hofn, muy bien equipado, con todo lo que necwaitaa para sentirte en casa, las vistas preciosas y cerca del pueblo donde puedes encontrar un supermercado, gasolina y todo lo que necesitas. Vimos auroras borelaes desde el alojamiento con sólo abrir la ventana. Lo recomiendo ampliamente.

Aufenthalt war sehr gut! Das kleine Häuschen eignet sich perfekt für einen Halt in der Nähe des Gletschers Jokulsarlon - einziger Makel: aber dafür kann die Unterkunft nichts. Es war sehr windig, wodurch es in der Nacht sehr laut war.
