Nice place and a friendly host

We had a lovely stay at Thury’s cozy studio apartment which is very well equipped and clean. We were taking it easy for the last few days of our trip and were very glad to have stayed at Thury’s apartment as we were able to cook our meals with our remaining groceries and do our laundry before leaving Iceland. The apartment is also located in a lovely neighbourhood which is close to petrol stations and restaurants. It is also a short 10-15 drive away from the main city, which was perfect for our short trip to the city for the usual tourist attractions. Thury and her husband are also very friendly and helpful - they even provided a booklet containing helpful tips as well. Highly recommended!

Sehr freundliche und schnelle Kommunikation. Tolles kleines Apartment für zwei Personen. Küche ist gut ausgestattet. Man kann direkt vor der Unterkunft im Hof parken. Supermarkt, Bäckerei und Restaurants sind fußläufig erreichbar. Absolut empfehlenswert.

Nous avons passé un superbe séjour chez Priyanka ! L’appartement est fonctionnel , propre et très bien placé. À 2 pas du logement vous pouvez retrouver un braud&co ( boulangerie ) et un bonus ( supermarché ) . Très bien situé , nous étions à 10 min de voiture du centre de Reykjavík et à 5 min du Sky lagoon ! L’hôte est réactif et sympathique, je recommande !

The host is very friendly and helpful, even though we booked the place at the last minute. He had the place ready for us within a few hours. The location is convenient, about 20 minutes from downtown Reykjavik, with free parking available in either an outdoor lot or an indoor garage. It is also very close to a Bonus, a grocery store chain popular with locals. The apartment is very clean, tastefully decorated, and equipped with many luxury amenities. This is definitely a home away from home that we would love to return to. Thank you, Jon!

I stayed in about 10 places all around Iceland and this was by far my favorite place. It is a gorgeous apartment, it was super clean and it felt really cozy. It has a very good location, it’s very near to everything if you have a car and the place it’s really peaceful. The instructions are very clear and the host it’s friendly. I would totally recommend this stay. 11/10

Sunna was a perfect host. Very friendly and helpful and very fast with solutions to even the smallest problems! The flat was very nice, you feel like home right away! There‘re all the necessary appliances, it was very clean and cosy. The city center was a 20 minute walk from the flat or 5 minutes with the bus. A supermarket and some take away restaurants are just around the corner.

Felt right at home. I've never stayed in someone's home before on Airbnb, but Mikael made us feel right at home. Having a ton of space, a full kitchen, access to laundry space was invaluable for our trip. Although we didn't have a chance to use the hot tubs they looked clean and spacious. In retrospect, we would have spayed longer because there is just so much to see in just an hour drive radius around the town. Would highly recommend!

Andri was flexible in every way that mattered to myself and my friends and I greatly appreciated it. Our wanting to return to Iceland is greatly impacted by having such a friendly and communicative host. The home itself fit our group of 8 adults comfortably and kept us entertained after a long day of exploring Iceland! Takk Andri! Bless Blessi!

Clean and comfortable home was just right for some recuperation on a rainy day with plenty of space for my family of four. The location was great to access the golden circle and south coast destinations once the weather cleared up. Communication was great and both check in and check out was a breeze. The deck feels very private. The kitchen was well stocked with tools and appliances. Location is very close to grocery stores for self-catering and there are restaurants nearby if you would rather not cook.

Nice, spacious house matching perfectly matching the description and photos. Worked perfectly for four adults and four kids. Football pitch and playground by the school just a few metres from the house. And a trampoline in the garden. Easy and quick communication with David. Thanks for a great stay!

Asta was so helpful with local recommendations, and her house was clean welcoming. We had everything we needed right at our fingertips. The sauna and hot tub were great for relaxing. The location was perfectly central for exploring the Reykjavik peninsula.

We stayed here for our last night in Iceland to get to our flight the next day. Sunna's place is clean, neat, and cozy stay for all your short-term Reykjavik needs. Also, the neighborhood was really nice, peaceful and walkable. Overall, we had a great stay here!

I stayed at Nina’s place with my husband and my friend’s couple. We were seamlessly able to check in and the host Nina and her husband could never been more helpful. They were always responsive whenever we need something or we have questions. It was one of our best air Bnb stays and we will definitely come back here and stay again with pleasure.

Wir hatten einen schöne Zeit dort, wir haben alles so vorgefunden wie es beschrieben war. Lina , die Katze ist sehr süß und verschmust. Das Haus liegt am Rande der Wohnsiedlung, so mussten wir nur ein paar Schritte laufen um Nachts gut die Nordlichter sehen zu können. Wir können die Unterkunft nur weiterempfehlen!

Absolutely amazing place and hosts! From the initial communication to the checkout process, everything was seamless and perfect. The apartment is easy to find, clean, and thoughtfully prepared for guests. It is located close enough to the city for easy access to shops and restaurants, yet far enough to enjoy quiet and peaceful surroundings, offering the best of both worlds. We felt so comfortable throughout our stay and appreciated the extra touches (e.g., local recommendations, amenities, etc.). Overall, this is one of the best stays we've ever had, and we'd highly recommend it to anyone visiting Iceland!

A lovely apartment in a great walkable location (close to Kringlan shopping mall, and all the Reykjavik bus lines). The views out of the window were lovely - you can see the mountains in the distance, and it's in a neighborhood where there's locals, not just tourists. It had all the listed amenities, and a very well equipped kitchen especially. The host was always very responsive and helpful. I would definitely recommend this apartment. Takk fyrir okkur!

Our family of 8 had a wonderful stay! Rooms were perfect, beds were comfy, space was clean, cozy and the location was convenient to all of our adventures and there was a parking spot! Iris was responsive and the place was exactly to how it was described.

Very grateful for the fast arrangement. 3 days before check-in, I received messages that there would be no warm water in the regio’s due to change of pipes from the government. And Magnea messaged me with an alternative plan. I changed my trip plan accordingly and it worked perfect. Great house, great owner

This is a great place to stay in Iceland. It is clean, conveniently located and very spacious. It is also well equipped for families with toys, books, etc. as well as a washer and dryer. We appreciated the flexibility shown to us with check in! I would definitely stay here again. I would recommend you have a rental car for sure. Parking is in a lot right in front of the building.

This was the perfect distance from the bus stop to take us into the city. Because it was right outside of the main city center, it was quiet and peaceful. The area had everything we needed and it felt safe. Just a heads up to other visitors the water has a sulfurous taste and smell. This is a wonderful place to stay and we would definitely book this again!

An extremely homely and cozy place. I can't think of anything to make this place better, and I can only dream to ever have a home that is as well organized. The location is perfect, walking distance from downtown, but a grocery store, pharmacy and several restaurants around the corner. All communication was friendly, informative and timely. One of my best experiences on AirBnb!
