I hjertet af svanninge ligger den gamle smedje, som har været aktiv fra 1490 og indtil 2003. Den gamle stald hvor hestene blev skoet og høloftet blev i 2003 kontor til elektriker virksomhed. I 2022 er det hele blevet omdannet til en 110 kwm stor ferielejlighed med nyt køkken og bad.
