The Shepherd’s Hut @ Willowdene House is located away from it all yet close enough to enjoy all that Northumberland has to offer - from the scenary of coast & hills to historic properties, art galleries & gardens to visit. The hut has a double bed and kitchen. Outside is a seating area with fire pit. Composting toilet & outdoor shower are located in separate sheds. Free 18 hole golf for our guests as well as tennis courts and children’s play park. Lots of coastal & country walks right on our doorstep!

This stylish Pod is perfectly positioned above Edlingham Vale, with the Simonside hills beyond. Deep in the heart of North Northumberland, amenities in Alnwick and activities are just a 10 minute drive away. Next to the Pod, there is parking for 2 cars. Our Pod overlooks the hilltop Farm Steading of Overthwarts, giving panoramic views of the countryside. With your own private gated entrance, you can come and go as you please or enjoy the views from the comfort of the wood fired Kirami hot tub.
