Else and Jaco were very kind and excellent hosts. If you would like to get away for peace, I would recommend this place. The bed was comfortable, the space was neat and the nuts were delicious. I wish we were able to stay longer ;)

Charming cozy House in the Middle of nowhere. If you have clear skies (unfortunately I hadn’t) you probably have a fantastic view on the Stars. Located only a 15 min drive from De Hoop Nature Reserve. Mattie even prepared super nice Dinner and Breakfast and was always responsive and had good tips (e.g taking a Ferry with the car) for shortcuts. I had a Suzuki Swift (Small car) and it was absolutely fine to take the never ending gravel road!

A magical place in every way. Bibi's Joy has been by far the the most wonderful place I have stayed at and I have already booked my next stay. The house is absolutely beautiful and steeped in such history. It was pristine when we arrived - my two dogs and I - and we had everything we could need. I even got Peter's incredible book which I read within 2 days. Thank you to Peter for sharing your incredible story. The forest walks, right on our back door, along the mountain and above the river were stunning. My dogs and I just loved being in this beautiful location and getting to sit along the flowing river was just so peaceful and relaxing. Really didn't want to leave. Thank you to Peter and Bibi for sharing your home away from home. You have created a little peace of heaven and am grateful that you are willing to share it. Looking forward to my return in September.
