An absolute gem of a place. We booked this at the last minute, and from the description and other reviews this sounded perfect. It was all of that and more. Exceptionally quiet, yet easy to drive to lots of local attractions. The accommodation was exceptional, and the little extras left by Andy & Roy, made it all the more special. We recommend this 100%, and will definitely aim to book again in the future

We had an fantastic stay at Sara’s Airbnb! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality. The space was clean, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was perfect for us, allowing us to easily explore the local area on foot and on our tandem. We especially loved Helmingham Hall deer park that was at the bottom of the lane. Sara was responsive and went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience. We felt at home and can’t wait to return. Highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone looking for a wonderful getaway! We had an absolutely fabulous time at the Milking Parlour ❤️ The place was gorgeous, perfect for a couples getaway. We were blessed with brilliant weather, and the positioning of the garden meant we got the best of the sun. Sitting outside with breakfast in the mornings was a proper treat. The hot tub was also a super nice addition; once we got it properly going, we stayed in it from sunset until the night, and were able to spot some constellations as we were far enough away from the light pollution of central Ipswich :) The Milking Parlour itself is super lovely, very airy and fresh design, bright throughout the day, helpful little gadgets around, always a good temp due to underfloor heating. The hosts Marion and Kevin were really friendly, and Charlie was very helpful. We would’ve never left, had we been given the choice, so we will hopefully be back soon instead 🙏

What a peaceful and private spot this is! We loved being down a long drive, in a ‘treetop’ level hideaway, where we could enjoy spotting wildlife and relaxing in seclusion. The lake, donkeys and sheep were a real tonic and very calming. We were warmly welcomed by Alyson and reassured that she was on hand should we need anything. The accommodation was super clean, comfortable and conveniently located for visiting our family in nearby Suffolk towns. We immediately felt at home. The decor is plain and subtle, so it felt calm and classic. We particularly liked the well-appointed kitchen (never seen such clean ovenware! ), the bliss of a bath to soak in, and the fun touches of mugs & lamps with farm animal motifs. Definitely one to return to!
