The beach is less than 5 minutes down one end of the road and should you chose to explore the other end of the road, you'll find the historic Bungan Castle, built in 1919. Majestically perched on the headland overlooking Bungan Beach, every stone of this castle was brought over by its German owner and it is now heritage listed. Alternatively, a short walk to the light rail which services Darling Harbour, Chinatown and ends up at Central Railway Station. There is a convenience store, Japanese restaurant and cafe, less than 50m walk from the lift. The convenience store supplies Opal Cards (the Sydney transport card for bus, train, light rail and ferry).
