The spacious home with swimming pool and lush garden is the ideal family escape providing our guests with the ultimate indoor/outdoor living experience. Located on the sought after Noosa Sound, the residence is on a quiet street, a leisurely 10 minute walk to main beach and world famous National Park, Hastings Street shops and cafes. Fine dining at Rickys, Rock Salt, Wasabi and the Woodfire Grill is literally a one minute walk. The 4 bedroom home sleeps 10, perfect for 2 families looking to spend a memorable holiday in the sun. The master bedroom with King sized bed, large ensuite with his and hers shower, opens onto an expansive lawn. The second bedroom has a queen sized bed, the third bedroom has 2 king singles. The two rooms are separated by a large shared bathroom. These 3 rooms have ducted air-conditioning and ceiling fans for a year round comfortable sleeping experience. The fourth room is the signature kids retreat. There is a designer bunk (with trundle optional) and a loft style level with 2 single beds for bigger kids only. The room has its own bathroom and shower, as well as its own split system air-conditioning unit. Each bed is made up with luxurious hotel grade linen and each guest is supplied with towels and beautiful locally produced organic toiletries from SAYA. Beach towels are also available for your use. The home itself enjoys and expansive open plan kitchen and living / dining area that flows out onto a pool and alfresco dining area under the shade of the majestic poinciana tree. There is also a reading room with a huge day bed to kick back with a novel, play games or have an afternoon siesta. There are sun lounges if you prefer to bask in the afternoon sunshine instead. Of course there is unlimited wifi access for guests and a large smart TV perfect for Netflix / Apple TV for lazy evenings, or to keep the kids entertained. The kitchen itself features an expansive island bench top ideal for kids dining or sitting about chatting. The designer kitchen has everything a gourmet foodie could wish for, and includes a Nespresso coffee machine for the morning caffeine hit before strolling to Hasting Street for another. Naturally, there is also an outdoor BBQ for your use before cooling off with another dip in the pool. There is an outdoor shower in the garden, to rinse sand off on return from the beach, or to use just because you love the freedom of showering with the sky above you. Please note: The pool is not heated. As we have all year round gorgeous weather the majority of swimming pools in Queensland are not heated. Even on holidays, there will be laundry to attend. We have front loading washer and dryer, iron and outdoor clothes line for your use. There is a double garage, and please feel free to use our body boards, two 8 foot foam surfboards and stand up paddle board throughout your stay. If you require a cot, high chair, or babysitting, we can help you with this and any other requests. As guests of Poinciana House, you have full access to the residence as though it is your own home and we expect you to care for the home accordingly. Prior to your arrival, we will contact you with a comprehensive guide with recommendations for restaurant bookings (essential in peak season) and activities so that you can get the most from your stay. You will be greated upon your arrival by our house manager, who will show you around the home and can provide you with any assistance throughout your stay. Minimum number of nights is 5, 7 for school holidays, however please feel free to contact us should your require less and your request will be considered on an individual basis. But our lovely house manager Marita will be on call to answer any questions or help organise your activities on site! Noosa is one of Australia's most desirable resorts, its stylish low-rise architecture blending into a stunning environment of crystal waters and subtropical rainforest. The town is located within the UNESCO-recognised Noosa Biosphere Reserve.

Jacks_placeballarat. Original 1960s classic.

Step back in time to a hilltop house with views across the city through picture windows. Exposed brick and the extensive use of natural wood maintain a mid-century atmosphere, enhanced by period furnishings and gleaming softwood floors throughout. The House Manual provides information about Jack's, as we call our house. We do not host guests with accompanying pets and smoking on any part of the house and property is not acceptable. If these rules are not to your liking then please do not book. Jack's Place is an original 1960's architect designed house. A master bedroom with direct access to the bathroom (en-suite except it is the only one!). The second bedroom features jarrah flooring and exposed brick wall. The living area features a unique view across the City especially at night. Functional kitchen and laundry, air conditioning and heating. The rental terms are for the whole house but if a couple book then it is expected only one bedroom is used. On booking it is best to clarify if both bedrooms are required. If not we do not make up the second bed. Jack's Place is a free standing brick residence with its own car space. There is a walled courtyard and front lawn area/garden (yet to be fully developed ). Cate and I live behind Jack's Place and both properties share a driveway. Naturally the drive must be kept clear at all time. More than happy to be contacted with any questions relating to Ballarat in general, food, wine and things to do. This 1962 house is in Golden Point, an old area in the City of Ballarat, about 125 kilometers west of Melbourne. These days the architecture of the area varies from 1860s dwellings, California bungalows, and modern high-density residences. Ballarat's main street is Sturt St. It is about a ten minute walk to the town centre and less to major supermarkets. Parking in town is charged via meter all week. On the edge of the central business district parking is free. Parking around the restaurant area of Armstrong St is difficult. My advice is to walk to dinner and Uber home. Local buses are confusing. Only a few minutes away is The Grapes Hotel, friendly and reliable. Ballarat weather can be variable. I have no control over the weather! We are perched about 375 metres above sea level, cold in Winter and hot in Summer. Summer nights tend to cool down. To keep the house warm and you comfortable, draw the blinds and turn on the heating. There are electric panel heater available in the house. Be very aware that they are not suitable for use when young children are part of the guest party. To cool the house, draw the blinds, close all windows and unnecessary doors and set the cooling for 10C below the outside temperature.

Two cats live on property (Buddy & Braveheart) but probably wont impact on guests unless they are cat lovers!
