Monthly Rentals in Syndin

I have stayed in these areas for 30 years and have walked and cycled by this farm many times. Every time I have stopped and admired it; the atmosphere, the location, that it is so well maintained - a rare gem! Inside it is also completely unique, the soul of the old farm is kept and it is furnished and decorated with tradition, style and very good taste. Everything I needed of equipment was in place and everything worked out great. Kristine, Berit and Jens are the world's most pleasant and warmest host. Berit was in place when I arrived, field flowers were in vase in the kitchen - and Berit gave me the best possible welcome. They were also very accessible along the way. I have had an amazing stay, have enjoyed every hour on the farm and have done lovely hikes in this beautiful mountain area. Thank you so much for an unforgettable stay, I will be back for sure!

Older building with lots of charm and warmth. Owners were friendly and always available. Great place to stopover.

Super nice cabin with what you need and a great location. Great views and if you are lucky, you get to see the northern lights as we did this weekend. Very good beds, good size and very practical with two bathrooms when you are so many. All in all, we are all very happy with our stay and would love to come back!

Nils and Kari Birgit are perfect hosts. There when needed. Their property is extensive and incredibly beautiful. The campground has great facilities, and the cottage is comfortable with a lovely sense of tradition and age. What an amazing location. Snow capped mountains tower above. I even saw the Northern Lights one night, if faint. It is not far from either Bergen or Oslo, local bus goes into town and back once a day, so you don't have to have a car. The mountain stream beside the cottage is gorgeous, and they tell me the fishing is good when it warms up. Highly recommend the Mjøsvang Kafe coffee and cheesecake superb, motoring picture jokes hilarious. Great mountain walks. Inhabited since the Bronze Age, there are Viking and Iron Age symbol and rune stones. A fabulous place to get away from it all. Norway at its best.
