A rare case when in reality a house is better than in the photo. The house has everything you need for comfort. A lot of work and time was invested in this house - a lot of beautiful things, carved doors and windows, furniture, garden, lighting, etc. Very good Internet (we work remotely and the quality of the Internet was very important for us) The hosts were always in touch and helped us many times. My parents, wife and I came to stay at Silversand for five days in August and just loved it! Oh gosh, where to start?! 😄 The hosts are wonderfully responsive, and even provided a wonderful driver service Made from the airport and back at a very affordable price. The villa itself is just beautiful, nestled in the trees and peaceful save for the ongoing gorgeous tweets of local abundant birdlife and the rolling waves from the beach at the end of the road. This part of Bali is away from the crowd, but still easily walkable to cute little cafes and a couple of restaurants, as well as the famous Tanah Lot temple and town. The villa (and its guests) are lovingly cared for by a wonderful team of hosts, warm and effortless in true Balinese style. We recommend this wholeheartedly, to sit by the pool and recharge and wander as you like!

Craving a calming, beautiful retreat away from the crowds? This beautiful home has a huge pool and gorgeous, largely empty expanse of beach on which to escape the crowds and enjoy the tranquility of Bali. The home itself is spacious and stylish, which many comfortable areas in which to relax and gather. The garden is lush. The town is authentic and charming. The staff are incredibly welcoming and gracious. After the crowds of Kuta and Ubud, we really enjoy the quite and tranquility of the beautiful beach home.

Made’s House is a real Gem. It is a quiet oasis nestled among trees with rice field and mountain views yet very close and walkable to my most favorite beach in Bali. Made himself is friendly and accommodating and Komang is a wonderful help always arriving with a big smile. I had a wonderful stay. Made’s Joglo is very pretty with a very comfortable bed. I especially loved the outdoor shower and taking a bath while gazing at the stars. I will definitely be back soon and stay longer next time.

Photos do not do this place justice! It is beautiful, spacious and the staff are so kind and attentive. They even have massages, pedicures and day trips available + delicious complimentary breakfasts, although quite small. The lookout was incredible. It’s spacious, private and faced the sun setting over the fields. We didn’t hear much noise minus some far off traffic, barking, and there was construction during the day but it was far enough that it didn’t bother us. Mostly, we were surrounded by bird songs and insect chirps. We also had a few friendly cat and dog visitors! Most things are in walking distance, or just a scoot away (which they have for hire) We unfortunately only stayed for 3 nights, yet felt beyond rejuvenated and relaxed by the end. We can’t recommend this place enough for couples after a private sanctuary close to Canggu. Thank you to Depana and staff for such a lovely visit !

Es war eine wunderschöne Woche im Summer House. Die Anlage ist wie ein kleiner Jungle. Der Garten ist sehr schön und spendet Schatten und Ruhe. In der Outdoor Küche vom SummerHouse kann man kleine Mahlzeiten zubereiten. Es gibt fußläufig viele tolle Cafés und Restaurants. Mit dem Roller ist man in wenigen Minuten im lebendigen Canggu.

Absolutely loved the place. Incredible view and immersion in nature. The garden is open, yet private enough and the house itself has everything you need to feel home. Loved it and will come back soon!

Unser Aufenthalt in der kleinen Villa war sehr schön. Alles sieht aus, wie auf den Bildern, man hat Ayu immer direkt erreicht, wenn eine Frage bestand und sie war immer freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir haben uns auch auf Grund der guten und hochwertigen Ausstattung sehr wohl gefühlt. Grab & Gojek funktionieren super, die Cafés in der direkten Umgebung sind schön und lecker. Ein Roller ist aufgrund der Lage auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen, damit man flexibel von A nach B kommt. Nebenan ist aktuell eine Baustelle, das ist aber auf Bali ja derzeit kein Einzelfall. Die Hunde auf dem Grundstück haben gebellt, wenn man reinkam, haben aber nur neugierig geschaut und waren nicht weiter störend.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at a stunning villa in Bali, and it was an absolute delight. The villa itself was superb - a true embodiment of comfort and tranquility. We found ourselves spending a lot of time at home, soaking in the serene atmosphere, and enjoying every moment of it. The location of the villa was in a cozy village, adding to the charm of our stay. The evenings were perfect for leisurely strolls, where the beauty of the surroundings created a peaceful backdrop. The convenience of being just a 10-minute walk from the sea was a definite highlight. The proximity to the beach meant we could easily enjoy the sun and surf without any hassle. Additionally, the area around the villa boasted lovely cafes, which were ideal for grabbing a coffee or enjoying a meal. It was wonderful to have these dining options so close by. Overall, our experience at this Bali villa was exceptional. It offered the perfect blend of home comfort and the joy of exploring new surroundings!

I enjoyed my stay at Villa Shirine and it served its purpose. The area is extremely beautiful if you have transportation. A photographer's stimulant delight. The house is near Balian, so a great spot for surfers too. House can well equipped. The pool is rather small, but this didn't hamper my stay since I went wandering further off where I found isolated beaches to take a dip in. If you are coming by car, it can get a bit tricky getting out depending on the size of the car. Eiherwise, the house was well equipped, steady Internet, the stay was comfortable and I would recommend it to others who are seeking to get away from the crowds.

The villa was amazing, we were so comfortable and relaxed which was the whole point of our holiday. We had a wedding to attend at Villa Vedas which was a breeze to walk to and we got to enjoy the fireworks from Bali Beach Glamping on a few nights from our balconies. The villa had everything we could have needed, staff were so friendly and helpful, they did a great job. We had every question and request answered and loved the peace and calm, away from the hustle and bustle. Loved our visit, thank you so much Kip, Ketut, Nicky and the team

This was our second stay here and it was lovely. Wayan was very accommodating as usual. The bed is super comfortable and the accommodations were simple, rustic and clean. It was nice having Netflix on the TV and just enjoying the nature and exploring the area- the big tree closeby is incredible, and the cocoa plantation was great too. We will be back!

We absolutelly loved both the place and the owners. As Thomas says, he sales lifestyle, and we cannot agree more with this statement. The place itself is beautiful, comfortable, decorated tastefully. The views are incredible. So is the food, coffee and fruits, grown organically by Thomas in his garden. Can you have real, italian pizza in the middle of Bali, made with freshly picked ingredients? Yes! Do you wanna see the vanilla flower? If you are lucky (I was!)- you can :) The place is truly a paradise and you don't want to ever leave. We will be back as soon as we can, and we recommend it to all of our friends :)

Wonderful month spent with my husband and 2-yo daughter at this truly tranquil villa, which sits inside a hotel complex. The villa had everything we needed — they even provided us with pack & play, confy baby bed linen and pillows, and a portable bath tub. It was amazing to wake up everyday to the view of lush green fields and the ocean at a distance as well as to witness the most amazing sunsets! Food at their restaurant was a mix of local and western dishes — tasty and reasonably priced. Half way in to the first week we found out about grocery companies that would deliver (Bali Direct and Compass Fresh), so we started cooking more. Closest supermarket is roughly a 45min-drive away at IDR400,000 to rent a car with a driver for up to 4h. There’s also a convenience shop next to reception with many items including some essentials like bread, rice, shampoo, sunscreen, others. Depending on how far you’re willing to go there are a number of places you can visit including their local beach which is a 10-min tuk tuk drive away. You can also ride a scooter there or look for Putu and he’ll take you around to see waterfalls, rice fields, terraces, ceramic factory among other spots — Putu knows everything! For the kids they had a small open-air toys area, a trampoline, a garden playhouse, and some pool floats. Babysitting service is available upon request. The carers who helped us spoke good english, and were great entertaining. Thank you very much Sahaja Sawah family! We miss this paradise of yours already!

I don’t even have words to describe how perfect this place was for us to come and relax from our stressful lives. The views, the rooms, the staff were all as described. The best part was not having to make decisions as Wayan took care of everything. We let him cook our meals to experience true Bali culture. Yum! The massages and facials on site are a must. Daily! And let them take you north to the waterfalls. It is not a tourist area so very special with a local beer to cool down after the hiking. The beach here with the black sand and sparkly mica is nice to enjoy the sounds of the waves and enjoy daily walks. Thank you so much Diana for letting us utilize your beautiful space. We were blessed beyond words at all of the calming details you put into the design. All of the Balinese people are so friendly and have hearts of service. Our flight was late and they we’re so flexible to change pick up from Airport. DO NOT Attempt to drive here. Trust them. It is inexpensive

Lovely place in a rural village. I stayed for two weeks and felt very happy with my stay! You get to immerse in the local way of life, eat breakfast overlooking the rice fields (and the ocean glistening in the distance), and sleep in a beautiful traditional Balinese house. Aniek, and everyone else I met, was kind and hospitable. Beach is a walking distance away (and I often had it practically to myself, as there rarely were other tourists), but for anything other than the beach, renting a scooter is a must. Aniek organised one for me at a fair price. Wifi was slow. I used mobile hotspot with a local sim. Food was tasty and served at your convenience and the bed was comfortable. Overall, great stay if you're looking for an authentic Bali experience. Thanks, Aniek! Looking forward to meeting again :)

Home & staff were amazing! Polite, respectful, helpful, attentive, & accommodating. Big shout out to Putu, the house manager, she’s a rock star! You can tell this home is her domain & she takes pride in what she does. PSA - If you’re ever in Bali in general, but also at this home, & need transportation, be sure to reach out to Wiskey! He was a true gem & will make sure you’re taken care of! Between the 3 of us, we were a dream team, making the stay one to remember for me & my guests! We thank you all! 🫶🏽

Very quiet and peaceful surroundings! Amazing views. The staff worked good, also they respected our privacy and we barely even saw them. The host is easy to talk to, very helpful. In general the place is very welcoming.

Favourite place I’ve ever stayed. We ended up extending we liked it so much! Was the perfect place to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings watching sunset! Highly recommend!!

First off, the place is in such a sweet little nature spot, perfect for rest and digest. The house has folding doors that can be completely opened up to overlook a small rice paddy valley with the sounds of a babbling creek below. It was so relaxing to sit and read a book or have a cup of coffee while looking out. The bed was super comfy and the house has everything you need, including sharp knives which I always greatly appreciate! :) Internet is fine (for Bali - expect the occasional drop out of course), and Kadek said that the speed can be boosted upon request. Electricity and hot water were no problem. The house is perfect for those who want the quiet life of a farmstay (including cats and dogs), with the comfort of home. And just a short walking distance is a natural hot spring that pipes out of a small cliff, which was great to relax under and watch the fireflies go by. Kadek and Roy were so accommodating, and were always happy to have a nice chat and were like neighbours away from home :) I will definitely be back!
