For 2–3 people, you can enjoy a special time without being disturbed by anyone. The building features plaster walls, a rice husk floor, and cypress wood from Mie Prefecture, creating a gentle space unique to natural materials. At Rokugetsu Farm, you can also experience harvesting pesticide-free vegetables (reservation required). You can also enjoy dishes made with freshly harvested vegetables and Matsusaka beef from a nearby butcher. Guesthouse Agae is a limited stay for one group that has been renovated from an old private house.The property is in a very convenient location, with the Kumano Kodo and Chikurōji approximately 550 metres away (around a 7-minute walk), and a supermarket (A-COOP), a bus stop (Kodo Aruki no Sato Chikatsuyu), and a restaurant (Tororoya) all within a 1-minute walk. As the owner is a local Kumano Kodo guide, we will do our best to answer any questions you may have about walking the ancient pilgrimage route, provide advice, and offer transport if needed.We can also provide a personal guide, so please feel free to enquire. Makomo House is located in a mountain village at an altitude of 500 m on the Oku-Mikawa Plateau in Nara The 100-year-old house is a private rental. Makomo-no-ta, which is said to be "the grass where God dwells", spreads around the inn, and you can relax in your room and feel the "Makomo breeze". You can enjoy the "Medicinal Herb Makomo Bath" at the Irori back table and the Goemon bath, where the well water is heated with firewood. There is no TV or wifi, so why not turn off your digital devices and turn on your own sensibilities?
