This listing is a private house and can accommodate up to 2 cars.Depending on the vehicle type, you can park about 4 vehicles.If you have 3 or more vehicles, please tell us the vehicle model. Four people can sleep in the Japanese-style room on the first floor and five people can sleep in the bedroom on the second floor. The view from Roadside Station Kugino is also superb. In winter, you can warm up by the fireplace, and in summer, you can come to cool off because it is a summer resort. Children can run around in the large lawn garden. Shampoo, body soap, and bath towels are provided for each guest. We do not provide toothpaste or toothbrushes. Please make a reservation with the correct number of people. I'm checking the outside surveillance cameras. If we find out that the number of guests is different, we will charge 20,000 yen per night. In order to be fair regarding cancellation fees, we will charge the cancellation fee as per the policy, regardless of the reason. We renovated a 160-year-old traditional house in 2023. The total site is 700 tsubo (2300 m ²), and the building is 170 m ², making it very spacious. While it is an 8-minute drive to Kumamoto Castle, it is a cottage where you can relax and unwind away from the hustle and bustle. The garden is full of trees and flowers, including a large camphor tree that has been there for over 160 years, black pines, Japanese maples, and bamboo forests, so you can enjoy the trees and flowers in all seasons. The host lives in the adjacent building, so you can feel at home. Take a big, deep breath and refresh yourself from the heart. ●Here’s what you need to know · There are many mosquitoes and insects because there is a garden with many trees. There is an outside deck that has panoramic views over famed surfing mecca of Kanegahama beach. Bedding is one queen, one double and two single beds. There is also a futon mattress that can be used if needed (it is not as comfortable as the beds!). As this house is in a residential area, we ask all guests to refrain from making loud noise/music outside, especially after dark.

There is a wood stove in the living room which is available in winter after receiving instructions from the host. The host lives next house, but of course will not disturb you unless guest's requests. Our 花hana is located at the foot of Mt. Aso, so we coexist with the wild animals and rich nature.

This private cottage is in Gokase Town, which is located in the middle of Kyushu. You can enjoy nature and spend a relaxing time while being along the national highway line, which is convenient for transportation. This guesthouse that my father renovated it that was originally a warehouse. Although it has a calm atmosphere, it is also an exciting space like a secret base. You can use the wood kitchen stove during the winter. Watching the shimmering flames warms your body and soul.
