Monthly Rentals in Takano River

Loved my stay at this beautiful machiya in Kyoto. It felt like living as a local, both at home and the nearby surroundings. The bedroom is bright and beautiful, the wooden onsen with garden view is the perfect way to wind down in the evening. If you decide to stay here make sure to do the soba workshop as early as possible in your stay, it will come with useful local recommendations and way to experience the friendly and warm nature of the Japanese culture. One of the best Airbnb I ever stayed in. Will go back if I’ll have the chance.

Very nice area to stay in, lots of good restaurants nearby and was very easy to get around using the provided bicycles. The room had all the amenities listed and felt very traditional.

Check in was very easy with the directions I was shared before check in. The bus station 17 leaving Kyoto station leaves you very close to the house, you have to walk very little to get to, which makes it super accessible. Zhang was always very attentive and kind to me, responded very quickly to messages and I had the opportunity to meet him, a very respectful and attentive person. The house I have no words to describe it, it is a dream house, the garden, the pond, the house inside, everything was amazing. We had no inconvenience for you. We required that location because we went to a convention and it has a very simple connection with the train and the buses that connect the whole city. Without hesitation, I would choose the house to stay again; it is a very quiet area and a very close river passes, which makes it even more beautiful. This room is large, quiet, and feel cozy. Morever, it is near bus stop and train station make it is very convenient to travel. However, the room is on the 3rd floor and it isn't have elevator. it is not suitable to guy who isn't strong or have large and many luggage. Overall, my family love it very much and will stay this place when go to Kyoto again.
