Holiday rentals in Takano River

This home was lovely, spacious, and in a fantastic location. Everything was spotless and as described. It’s a great neighborhood and a lot was walkable. The kitchen is very clean but very sparsely appointed, so appropriate if you’re only eating out or bringing in take out. We would have appreciated a few places to hang towels or a small vacuum for cleaning up since we were there for 5 nights, but besides those small things, really a lovely home in a great neighborhood in Kyoto and an excellent excellent value.

We stayed at this Kyoto house for an extended period and really enjoyed it. The location was great—just a short walk to Omiya Station and a 7-Eleven only 2 minutes away. The host was very kind and friendly. When we accidentally broke a plate and offered to pay, he cared about our safety first and didn’t ask for compensation. The house is traditional, so sounds from footsteps and stairs can be heard. There’s only one bathroom and toilet. The washing machine has no dryer, so we used a coin laundry 5 minutes away, but the host provided detergent, which was thoughtful. There are two rooms—one for 3 people upstairs, and a smaller room for 2 downstairs, which was a bit cold. Two of us chose to sleep in the living room with the heater and TV. As we stayed long-term, the host kindly asked us to help clean, which we appreciated. Overall, it was a warm and pleasant stay!

Really lovely house in a convenient location, easy to book, close to Tsuruhashi station (good links to everywhere you’d want to go on various lines, including the JR Loop Line). Beautiful bath and ornamental garden, comfortable beds, useful washing machine, peaceful and pleasant neighbourhood. Great stay!

The place was just like the pictures and the hosts took care of us by having transportation waiting for us at the train station. The apartment was located close enough to the trains to get wherever you needed to quickly. Check in was a breeze. Highly recommend this place and host. Thanks

convenient accommodation near a twist from which you can quickly reach all the cities of Japan. The apartment is a little dated, very small but enough for one person, the shower for a tall person is difficult. The only very negative point not well explained in the features is the fact that it is on the fifth floor, with a very narrow and steep staircase,without an elevator. With four suitcases of which two heavy ones I made a lot of effort

It was adjacent to the train tracks, so it was difficult to sleep at first, but after three days, I slept without worrying about the sound. Above all, the bed mat and Japanese-style mat were also easy to sleep on, making it easy to get tired and make it easy to sleep in a noisy room. There were also origami and books for the kids, so we had a pleasant time! Thank you!

I made a reservation for a family trip, and it's great to find. There are many food restaurants around, and it's located in the Kuromon market, so it's good to get groceries. It was nice to be able to take a break from time to time when traveling to the Namba area of Osaka and come back to the accommodation within a 10-minute walk if you needed a break. The accommodation is spacious and clean for a family of four to use. It's incomparably spacious and nice compared to a Japanese hotel. The kitchen has dishes, a refrigerator, and a microwave, and a TV, dryer, many hangers and washing machines, making it the best hotel I've ever stayed with a family. I think I'll make a reservation next time if I have a chance. If the host asks, please reply quickly and thank you very much.
