Holiday rentals in Takano River

This home was lovely, spacious, and in a fantastic location. Everything was spotless and as described. It’s a great neighborhood and a lot was walkable. The kitchen is very clean but very sparsely appointed, so appropriate if you’re only eating out or bringing in take out. We would have appreciated a few places to hang towels or a small vacuum for cleaning up since we were there for 5 nights, but besides those small things, really a lovely home in a great neighborhood in Kyoto and an excellent excellent value.

We stayed at this Kyoto house for an extended period and really enjoyed it. The location was great—just a short walk to Omiya Station and a 7-Eleven only 2 minutes away. The host was very kind and friendly. When we accidentally broke a plate and offered to pay, he cared about our safety first and didn’t ask for compensation. The house is traditional, so sounds from footsteps and stairs can be heard. There’s only one bathroom and toilet. The washing machine has no dryer, so we used a coin laundry 5 minutes away, but the host provided detergent, which was thoughtful. There are two rooms—one for 3 people upstairs, and a smaller room for 2 downstairs, which was a bit cold. Two of us chose to sleep in the living room with the heater and TV. As we stayed long-term, the host kindly asked us to help clean, which we appreciated. Overall, it was a warm and pleasant stay!

Really lovely house in a convenient location, easy to book, close to Tsuruhashi station (good links to everywhere you’d want to go on various lines, including the JR Loop Line). Beautiful bath and ornamental garden, comfortable beds, useful washing machine, peaceful and pleasant neighbourhood. Great stay!

The place was just like the pictures and the hosts took care of us by having transportation waiting for us at the train station. The apartment was located close enough to the trains to get wherever you needed to quickly. Check in was a breeze. Highly recommend this place and host. Thanks

sistemazione conveniente vicino ad una stravince dalla quale si possono velocemente raggiungere tutte le città del Giappone. l'appartamento è un po' datato, molto piccolo ma sufficiente per una persona, la doccia per una persona alta è difficoltosa. l'unico punto molto negativo non spiegato bene nelle caratteristiche è il fatto che si trova al quinto piano, con una scala molto stretta e ripida,senza ascensore. con quattro valigie di cui due pesanti ho fatto molta fatica

電車の線路に隣接されているので初めは寝づらかったのですが、3日もすれば音も気にならず寝れました。 何より、ベッドマットや和室のマットも寝やすいマットで疲れが取れやすく、騒音がする部屋でも寝られるよう工夫がされていました。 子供のために折り紙や本も用意されていて快適に過ごせました！ ありがとうございます！

I made a reservation for a family trip, and it's great to find. There are many food restaurants around, and it's located in the Kuromon market, so it's good to get groceries. It was nice to be able to take a break from time to time when traveling to the Namba area of Osaka and come back to the accommodation within a 10-minute walk if you needed a break. The accommodation is spacious and clean for a family of four to use. It's incomparably spacious and nice compared to a Japanese hotel. The kitchen has dishes, a refrigerator, and a microwave, and a TV, dryer, many hangers and washing machines, making it the best hotel I've ever stayed with a family. I think I'll make a reservation next time if I have a chance. If the host asks, please reply quickly and thank you very much.

Abbiamo alloggiato in 9 persone, divise in 4 camere. Due bagni a disposizione, cucina ampia, presenti posate e biancheria. Tre camere avevano i tipici letti a terra. Ottimo per un soggiorno di gruppo a Kyoto, con mezzi di trasporto facili da raggiungere a piedi. Nei pressi dell’appartamento non ci sono molte attività ma si trovano a pochi passi. Consigliato.
