Usambara Residence. Private, cozy, close to nature

DeepaRating, 5 stars10 months ago
The best homestay i visited the place with my old parents and a toddler as well. None had a single complaint, neither about the house nor about the host. The host is very responsive and attentive always gets you sorted on time… i had the best time with my family the bed and their linens were at its peak… we all could have a safe and sound sleep after the hike and the day out…. Highly recommend….

Private beach villa

ShehnaazRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
The house is a little dated but well maintained. The place was very clean. Amazing place if you need peace and quiet with access to the beach. A lovely swimming pool complete with a cabana, grill area, toilet and shower facilities. Lovely, well manicured gardens with a swing and trampoline. The house and gardens were very well lit too. The town centre is 15 mins away. The host is very responsive and happy to go the extra mile. The care taker saidi was very helpful.

Hibiscus Beach House

MarionRating, 5 stars19 months ago
We had a really relaxing stay at Hibiscus House with my husband and my son. Exactly what we needed! The house is right on the beach, very clean, and the Maasai guard and the cleaner Hidaya welcomed us very well and took good care of us. It is an ideal place for a family or friends as it has 2 big bedrooms. It is only a few minutes walk away from several places to eat like Ushongo Bandas or Emayani (which has a pool), so nice to get more options. Seif was also great to communicate with us before and during our arrival. The only things I would say is that it would be nice to have a bit more ''equipment'' (like a bigger fridge, coffee press, more sun beds/loungers etc) and also if the windows could have glass windows to protect from the wind and cold (not sure if possible), but that is just a detail. The house is located on the land of an abandoned hotel so it looks a bit like a ''ghost hotel'' at the back of the house but that is not really an issue. Just surprising when you arrive!
