Tau Studio is a boutique style chalet with a modern stylish decor and a hint of luxury. Everything is provided including top quality linen. It is very spacious but also has a lovely cosy, warm feel. Perfect for couples. It is based in the lovely quiet village of Rangataua which is only a 5 minute drive to Ohakune township where there are plenty of cafes, restaurants and shops. The winter offers fantastic skiing and snowboarding, and summer offers lots of walks, mountain biking and fishing.

Our place is close to the great Tongariro National Park. It includes Mt Ruapehu for skiing or snow boarding and tramping. Walk the world famous Tongariro Crossing and discover the cycle ways, kayak the Whanganui River and explore the 'Bridge to No Where'. Try trout fishing, a game of golf or visit the Waiouru Army Museum. Enjoy our cosy home with a wood fire whilst taking in the amazing mountain and rural views. Our place is good for couples and families (with kids) or small groups.
