Dongü 1803, un vestigio viviente, en el Alto Mezquital. La región si bien es semidesértica, de terrenos arcillosos, con flora de matorrales, mezquite, huizache, pirul, capulines y arbustos espinosos como el Xaxni; cuenta con diversas especies de cactáceas, biznagas, órganos, garambullos, cardones y otras plantas. En cuanto a la fauna, existen roedores como conejos, liebres, ardillas, zorrillos, onzas, tlacuaches, tuzas, reptiles y variedad de aves.

La Casa del Cocodrilo is a tropical refuge in the middle of Ixmiquilpan. The location is unbeatable: 5 minutes from downtown, 7 minutes from the hot springs corridor and close to shops, excellent food and atmosphere. The house is a charming country building with cosy spaces and eclectic details that showcase our colourful culture. Through the vegetation we seek to create an enveloping environment. The name refers to a sculpture in the garden.
