The apartment is easy to find , it is very clean and the check-in is simple. Everything was perfect. Impeccable kitchen and bathroom. We enjoyed the tranquility and the opportunity to take a bus on the corner. A butcher shop and a small grocery store are within walking distance. The host responds quickly. We would recommend it without hesitation.

Great location for people traveling for Tuscany. Best for solo travelers and couples though. The shower pressure is incredible.

My husband and I visited from Barbados in the Caribbean and absolutely loved our stay outside of Bucine. Giorgio’s place and the scenery was just lovely! The town of Bucine is tiny and quaint but very easy to catch the train to neighboring cities like Arezzo or Florence. The apartment was clean and tidy, cozy and just perfect for a quiet romantic getaway. If you really want the local feel for the heart of Tuscany, this is the place to be!

I stayed at Mario's place for 4 weeks and had a wonderful time. The "barn" is tastefully furnished and has everything you need (kitchen/bath). Furthermore the little house is surrounded by a beautiful garden with great views of the nearby mountains. Since I stayed a little longer it was very convenient that I could use the well functioning washing machine. Apart from that it was a big plus that the heating worked perfectly well, since during my stay the temperature during the nights was quite low. With regard to activities you can reach most trailheads (if you like to hike) within 15-30 minutes by car. If you're interested in city trips, Arezzo, Florence, Siena etc. can also be easily reached by car or train (from Montevarchi). Last but not least, Mario and his wife are very kind and helpful hosts. They live on the same property so that you can always reach out to them.
