Just metres from the lake edge & less than 3km from the town centre, this sunny iconic renovated 1970's apt is the perfect place for a bit of R&R, or make the most of all the outdoor adventure that Taupo has to offer then come home & relax in the private thermal plunge pool. A swim in the lake is just a skip across the road. Soak up the afternoon sun whilst taking in the amazing 180 degree views of the lake & mountains from the comfort of the living room or the private courtyard and balcony.

Forget your worries in this spacious & serene space. Redwood Lake house has been established for the McMillan family to have time out from the busy world, a place to loose ourselves for a few days of R & R. We the family wish to share this piece of paradise with its unique setting with the wider world. You could choose to leave social media & the like at home. We have games, walks, kayaks for the lake (2 minutes walk). Time to just sit & read in the sun, inside or out. Enjoy. Relax. Refresh

Huia Haven-Peaceful Retreat near Lake and Town

Escape to Huia Haven, where peace meets comfort in every corner. Nestled amidst a lush green garden, this charming BnB offers a peaceful haven for all travellers. Relax in any of the thoughtfully decorated rooms, and unwind in the beautiful scenic garden. Just a short stroll (600m) to the lakes edge, or into the town centre. With a fully fenced section you can relax knowing the kids are safe playing anywhere on the property. Please note that the 4th bed is a fold down bed in the lounge.

Cottage Lane close to Town

A private entrance leads upstairs to a light airy and sunny bedroom and ensuite. Views of the lake from the front window. Parking right outside the door, walk 750meters to town to enjoy breakfast at one of the many cafes. Ski slopes are just over an hour away. Fridge, kettle, microwave, tea and coffee making facilities, crockery, cutlery,wine glasses, chopping board and sharp knife . Iron and ironing board. Beach towels for a dip in the lake. Washing machine and dryer on site.

"The End of the Road"

The bach is well equipped, but GUESTS MUST SUPPLY OWN LINEN (sheets, pillow slips & towels), and CLEAN it before leaving. It is a fisherman's bach at the end of a quiet street. Lake Taupo is a 10 minute walk and the Tauranga Taupo River nearby. We have plenty of duvets and blankets. NO WIFI. If you are unable to clean the house before you leave or supply your own linen it's better if you find a motel or hotel nearby. We keep the price lower by not having a cleaning fee.

Ahuru - Our slice of serenity in the bay

Having already established ourselves as successful AirBnB hosts we are excited to offer updated, modern accommodation in Acacia Bay. Suited to families or couples - perfect as a base from which to enjoy Taupo's many events. Ahuru is a sunny 3 bedroom home situated in a quiet cul de sac next to a reserve. There is ample parking. From here you can launch your boat in 5 mins, stroll to safe swimming bay in 10 mins or dine at our local brasserie in 3 mins!

Bayview - Modern, Stunning Lake Views, Hot Tub

This spacious, modern home was given the name 'Bayview' due to the stunning views of the bay which can be enjoyed from the hot-tub, large sun-deck, all 4 bedrooms, both living areas and dining area. Located just across the road from the pristine shores of Lake Taupo, Bayview is the perfect place to relax, unwind and enjoy the company of loved ones. Soak in the hot-tub, or walk down the driveway and cross the street to dip your toes in the lake!

A fabulous local bar and restaurant, hairdresser and takeaway shop within walking distance as is the lake. Peaceful area with glimpses of the mountains and lake. A 5 minute drive from the town centre. Easy access to all the highways from its central location. Additional guests have access to a roll out sofa bed.
