The Bothy: apartment-style homestay

The Bothy is a self-contained and independent unit of Belinda and Hugh's lovely home, but has the same fantastic views of the lake and the mountains as their own sitting room. It has a small kitchen so you can be as independent as you wish, and a comfy lounge with "that" view! The main bedroom has a king bed, but there are two single beds and a small child-sized bed in a mezzanine loft (with pull-out ladder access) for the family, and a pull-out couch which makes into a comfy bed for one extra.

Lovely, 1-bedroom, self contained unit, double glazed windows. Own courtyard in a sunny garden, the courtyard includes a private area for you to lockup 2 bikes. Close to Taupo lake and town. This unit is in the lower part of our home, which is a 2-storey building. Your access, courtyard and living areas are all completely separate from ours, with off street parking. Your privacy during your stay is our utmost consideration and therefore we take all steps necessary to leave you to relax.

A lounge area features two seating options, one with patterned upholstery and the other in a solid tone. A wooden coffee table sits in the center, complemented by a variety of books and decor. Natural light fills the space through a window covered with a gray curtain.

Miss B's - Rest & Relax Taupo Guest suite

Relax in the spacious guest suite with all the amenities you need - including no cooking! The kitchenette has fridge, kettle, toaster and microwave. 1 Lounge/dining, 1 bedroom with queen bed. 1 bathroom. This suite is on the lower level of our home with a private entrance for guests. We live on the upper level with 2 small dogs. Our dogs do have a separate area away from our guests. We are 7 minutes drive to town and a 10 minute walk to the lake, supermarket, cafe and restaurants.

We are a working professional couple who have lived in Taupo for 30 years. We would like to wish a warm welcome to singles or couples. We do not accommodate infants, children or animals. We are a hop, skip and a jump from the stunning Taupo lake front and easy 25 minute stroll in to town, 3 minutes by car. Happy to host short or longer stays. Super convenient location for our Taupo events such as pickups for the Tongariro Crossing, skydiving & various lake activities.
