A cosy apartment, in a converted barn. At the top of a traditional farm track (unpaved surface - see house rules) Apartment is part of the original farm buildings with the owner living next door. The farm is situated 1/2 mile away from the nearest village that has 2 pubs, bus stops and a train station (Manchester - Buxton). The Apartment is ideally placed for walking, with a path leading towards Lyme Park (1hr), and a path leading towards the neighbouring village of Whaley Bridge. (40 min).

Wayfarers Cottage, walkers paradise.

A traditional 2 bedroom cottage located close to the canal in the village of Buxworth, on the border of the Peak District. Both bedrooms have double beds, one of which can be converted into a twin, making it ideal for a family. There is a small courtyard, for early morning coffee, with a secure out-building, for storing muddy boots or bicycles. Fabulous position for walking and cycling whilst being close to public transport, Chinley and Whaley Bridge train station are both close by.

Located in Fernilee in the Goyt Valley area of the Peak District National Park.Buxton is less than 10 mins drive away , we are surrounded by walks in the woodland, moorland and along reservoirs. Self contained annexe in my private garden with ensuite bathroom. Own entrance via side gate. Fridge and kettle with tea and coffee and also microwave, toaster and crockery/cutlery/glasses. Breakfast cereal and milk is supplied and guests are welcome to bring their own food and drinks. Gym and pool across the road , also pub and takeaways within walking distance. Includes towels and toiletries. Sunday evenings are available by request.
