Beautiful home and location! Fully stocked residence. We brought a lot of items from home that were not needed. Beds and furniture were very comfortable and we truly enjoyed our stay. Wish we could have spent a couple more days just to enjoy the view!

We had a fantastic long weekend at Shannon's house and enjoyed it thoroughly. The place was exactly as described, and was roomy, comfortable, and well equipped. The location was perfect, as well, within walking distance of everything in Ridgway and very convenient to the area's hot springs and Ouray. We wished we had longer and would absolutely stay again next time we're in the area!

Thank you for such an amazing time...the house was amazing, only topped by the unbelievable skiing that we're able to get in at Telluride. The house is very close, and is a wonderful drive with views of the San Juan Mountains the entire time. I can't wait to come back and can't suggest this place enough! Sibylle gave clear, easy instructions to get in and the house was perfect...can't thank you enough!

We’ve traveled all over the world, but this house tops our list. It far exceeded our expectations: spotless, beautifully appointed, with heavenly beds and an incredible setting. The cozy heated floors, well-designed kitchen with a bonus coffee nook, enchanting primary suite fireplace, and stunning views from every bedroom made our stay unforgettable. We loved the huge deck, hot tub, and light-filled dining area overlooking forest, river, and mountains. Visiting in winter for the kids’ ski school was perfect—coming back to this tranquil wonderland after the bustle of town felt magical. It’s close to great amenities yet surrounded by peaceful BLM land. The kitchen layout was wonderfully functional for multiple cooks, with health-conscious cookware and a second dishwasher in the coffee nook. We explored the land by the river, which was breathtaking. We can’t wait to return in summer to leave the windows open and enjoy the soothing sounds.

We had an amazing trip thanks to this cabin. Madison was extremely helpful, responsive, and friendly. She helped us feel right at home. And the views are amazing. Just the perfect balance of remote serenity while still feeling safe with others nearby. We would definitely stay here again!

I couldn’t have asked for a better getaway! This cabin was everything I hoped for and more—cozy, peaceful, and surrounded by nature. The space was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. The host was incredibly responsive and made sure we felt right at home. We stayed for 4 nights in the cabin and it was a truly incredible experience. Beautiful surrounding area, private and cozy, and enough amenities to feel fully comfortable. Just what we wanted to experience a getaway in the CO mountains. I would highly recommend this cabin for anyone who wants to visit CO and have a secluded stay experience that has a lot to offer.

Pictures do not do this place justice. We enjoyed every aspect of it. The small touches, ice cream in the freezer, board games, stocked toiletries, all made this slice of heaven even better! We are already counting down to when we can come back! We watched the sunrise on the back porch, played lawn games, and enjoyed the fire pit. This home is incredible. The photos of Koda Cabin don't actually do it justice, the place is WAY cuter in person. The view from the master bedroom was Amazing! The back yard was peaceful and the horses in the pasture were lovely as well. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed and check-in was a breeze. We made smores over the little fire pit in the backyard wich was nice. The cabin is located next to the highway, so there is some road noise, but it totally quites down at night and you can't really hear anything from the master bedroom. We would stay again for sure. Its very close to Ouray for shopping and restaurants. Thank you Tara!

Very peaceful stay in a beautiful setting. Very well equipped house. The deck and porch are great for watching wildlife, enjoying a late afternoon summer shower or just enjoying the view. Forrest is very thick and full of wildlife. Walking down the old logging road off the back of the property was perfect. The roads are well maintained and very walkable for park like strolls thru the neighborhood. House is located far enough off the beaten path to be peaceful but still close enough to Montrose, Gunnison, Lake City, Blue Mesa Reservoir, Ridgeway Reservoir and places in between for endless activities. The house sits at an elevation which treats guests to nice cool summer mornings and mild afternoon temperatures.

We had an incredible stay at this cabin! The property is stunning, and the surrounding scenery is absolutely breathtaking. Our entire group thoroughly enjoyed the experience, and I want to highlight the fantastic kitchen—it was a standout feature for us and made our stay even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a memorable getaway!

Absolutely wonderful find!!! Elk! Deer! Super quiet and peaceful surroundings. The house had everything needed to cook wonderful meals. The couch was fantastic for lounging on while enjoying the wood burning stove. If you’re looking for a place that is close to town, this will not be your place. It takes close to an hour to get to Montrose. Be sure to get all of your groceries and supplies before heading to the cabin. If you’re looking for solitude, you found the holy grail! I’d, absolutely, stay here again!!!!
