Monthly Rentals in Tempar

Kate and Andrew’s Victorian lodge is a comfortable, spacious country getaway. We had 14 guests, including 2 children, for 6 days and really loved our stay. Each bedroom worked well for our guests and the two kitchens and multiple sitting rooms and fireplaces were wonderful. Andrew left us with plenty of firewood and both Kate and Andrew were so responsive to any questions. Only warning would be for anyone needing high video quality for streaming calls, you may have difficulty as the WiFi connection was a bit inconsistent. But with so much to do outside and in the area, that didn’t impact us at all (and Kate and Andrew were immediately able to offer other solutions for the guest who did need to work a bit.) Really wonderful trip, made even better by such a great home!

First time staying in one of Tim and Judy's properties. The Bothy is exactly what we wanted. Rustic, cozy, imagine Hagrids shack (Harry Potter) and you wouldn't be far off. Nice, large wood burning stove, shower was great especially after a long walk. Some board games to choose from, we played Scrabble. We were greeted by their 2 lovely dogs Millie and Fergus whenever they were about. The chickens roam free and Jethro the goose is on guard. It is cut off from civilization with no phone signal or people for miles. Great scenery as soon as you open the door of the bothy onto Munro's and fields. We loved it. Tim was always about if needed. Very friendly, welcoming and you can tell he loves doing what he does. Had a lovely few days away for my birthday.

Excellent location for hill walking. Comfortable, clean chalet in quiet rural location, well equipped kitchen for self catering. Comfortable beds and living room, good selection of books and spirits, and good sized bathroom with shower. Fiona was responsive, and provided clear instructions on location, checking in etc.

We loved our stay at the Owl House, and so did our border collie! The place has everything you could possibly need for a stay with a well equipped kitchen and a lovely powerful shower! The hosts made us feel very welcome and gave lots of good recommendations. The surroundings are wonderful, very peaceful and quiet, with lots of lovely walks nearby. We wouldn't hesitate to return.
