From May to October guests have use of a 6m x 3.75m pool and sun deck in the garden of the main house.

The apartment was the birth place of the watercolor painter Cunha Rocha (1932-2016). It was built in the 15th century against the city's defensive wall and later beyond the wall. It is still possible to identify the defense tower, where the kitchen is currently located.
