the host is very helpful and uses a lot of discretion. the room is comfortable, spacious. overall will come back in the future

I stayed in Paka for almost 3 months, and I received an excellent welcome from Bada and her husband Nazli. They were always responsive to my possible requests, and sometimes even anticipated them. They also made me taste different local dishes, some cooked by Nazli. At the end of my stay I had a small accident, a fracture, and Nazli efficiently assisted me to get to the hospital. In short, a charming couple full of special attentions

His house is big, can fit 15-20 family group people actually. There are 4 rooms but near the living room is enough space to stretch toto. Spacious living space There are only a few things that are unsatisfactory and need to improve. 1- The fan near the living room is a bit slow despite speed #5. Another fan near the living room was broken. It's hot to sit near the living room. 2- Mosquitoes are quite a lot at night and ridsect only 2-3 sprays to spray near the house. Had to buy it at the store. 3- Plug point near the living room is not extra at all, even near the kitchen is only one extra. Charge your phone or use it for anything else. 4- Air conditioning per room is available but there is no living space. The fan is slow, it's hot. If there is air conditioning near the living room is superb. 5- The washing machine doesn't have time to use it but the condition is not functioning. Overall okay la. 6- The house is close to the town. 5min drive has arrived. It's just that his driveway is a little closed, you have to slow just see the homestay singboard

The house is exactly as in photos. very cute and clean. But this house has only 1 toilet. eveything else is great.

nearby kuala terenggau town, easy to access nearby got 7e and petronas. very clean and easy check in checkout porcess. got coway microwave tv iron

The second time I booked this homestay. Lovely place is just a location near the side of the main road, so it's a bit noisy with the sound of passing vehicles. But whatever is overall great.

We absolutely love our stay here! Exceptional beautiful place and the pool is amazing!! Kids love it here. We love the hospitality and the idea of snack box is genius, kids go hungry after their time in the pool. The welcoming snack & signage are thoughtful touch. We even received a parting gift, lovely! Def one of our favourite place to stay.

AT the begining IT was slightly hard To Find the house but upon check in into the house, everything is fantastic. The house, the room and furniture is like in Bali. The staf was very Nice and helpful. Pak Ngah was Nice and friendly. Other staf like Tisha, Mazni and others were very kind and helpful. We like So much the nasi dagang serve during the break fast. Insyallah we will Again stay in the house in our next visit To kuala Terengganu. Tqsm

"Simply Beautiful!" a word that I can confidently described about Norul's place. We were welcomed by Mazni during check in and she is so nice to show us around the entire area of Cahaya Villa. We are so impressed how well and details Norul and her team have put in to this place with Balinese handcrafted furnishings plus the greens surrounding made us feel like we were holidaying in Bali. The warm hospitality delivered by the staff made our stay even more perfect! The vegetarian breakfast spread specially prepared was delicious too! Location is not far from the main road where many eateries and mart with just short driving distance. For those who read my review, please consider to book Norul's place if you want the same 5 stars experience like we did. :)

Host was very responsive with clear instructions given prior to check-in. Finding the place and check-in was seamless. The house was very clean and comfortable for the 5 of us with air conditioning available in both living room and bedroom. The only downside was parking which could only fit 1 car, but will definitely consider staying here again in future.

Norul's place is a hidden gem! Nestled in the middle of a village in Kuala Ibai, you will stay among friendly locals, but also privacy is guaranteed. The entire place is gorgeous, every corner is 'Grammable! Breakfast was nasi dagang and karipap ikan which gave us enough sustenance for a shopping expedition at Pasar Payang later LOL. The caretakers were super friendly and hospitable. Our only regret with this place was staying just one night. We'll be back here the next time we're in KT! Just FYI, our room was an upstairs room which meant lugging suitcases up a narrow set if stairs, so do take note if you have accessibility issues (we had no problems with this). Also, if you're arriving by car, ask for VERBAL DIRECTIONS from Norul or the caretaker, do not rely on Google Maps or Waze because they will take you everywhere around the village except Cahaya Villa LOL.
