There are some lovely hikes in the area, we encourage you to bring your dog and enjoy the beautiful surroundings by taking some hikes then returning for a soak in the tub!

The Hideout is a cozy and convenient base camp for climbers, hikers, trail runners, digital nomads, and anyone wanting to relax and explore the beauty of Central Oregon. Just 8 minutes to Smith Rock! Take in the views of the Cascade mountains and farmland beyond while relaxing on the covered porch. The Hideout is my personal semi-rural retreat. There is a private hot tub on the back deck that backs up to the golf course, as well as a BBQ. There are 2 spacious upstairs bedrooms each with their own private attached bathroom and walk-in closets. Downstairs is a fully stocked kitchen, propane fireplace, and dining area/table. Steelhead Falls Log Cabin

Enjoy a restful time in our waterfront log cabin along the Deschutes River. Location is perfect for watching wildlife, fly fishing, quiet relaxation, and has easy access to hiking and rock climbing at Smith Rock and Lake Billy Chinook. Steelhead Falls is a a short hike away. Bend and Sisters are near. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate even small weddings. We recommend access to AWD vehicle with either chains or snow tires in winter. Dog friendly- sorry, no cats.
